A51 rw-150 vs...

I currently have a 190 and I'm happy with it!! It's that time for me to order another but the 190 is showing unavailable with no estimated date.

As far as the rw-150 I'm thinking second best? Or one of the two 160s left on clearance. I'm a noob to the lights so I'm just looking for some feedback.

I'd get the SGS-160 on clearance.They use warm white Cree diodes and run at 120 watts in veg mode with an added 35 watts of red for flowering. I think the 190 and the 160 would work well together.

well the rw-150 has not been proven, I bought 3 of them though because the PAR output is about the same ~29micromoles as the xgs-190, BUT, it has quite a bit more umoles in the 600-700nm range, which IIRC are much better for flowering. Also, the guy from a51 advised me i can keep the rw-150's about 18" from my canopy, but the xgs-190 says 24". Their micromole readings are all at 12", so I feel as if the rw-150 would actually through MORE micromoles per light because of the closer canopy allowance.

I've been running my A51 SGS-160 at about 12" in veg mode (warm white only). I think I'm going to back it off to 18" once I repot into 5 gallon pots.
