A seedling to far (pictures)

I had trouble managing my humidity so I avoided planting... now my taproot is REALLY long and there's a little fuzz on it. Though it's not covered in it, I wanted to know if I should just toss this one or if there really is a chance at fruition

Thanks you all

Try to plant with nothing but the tip out of dirt.. Keep the light off the root til you do.

You have to keep it moist!!Yes you can plant it, just make a hole big enough to accommodate the taproot, keeping the head above the soil.Spray it water, push the soil in around it and spray it some more.Put it under lights,it should be good. GL.peace

So plant it upside down your saying, with just the tip of the bottom of the taproot sticking up? How long should I keep it out of light after?

Ahhhh ok, I was wondering what the hell that thing was... I thought it was a deformity, a monstrosity of nature... A FREAK BEAN! but now I'm glad to know :)

Yeah just plant it where the seeds shell is the only thing out of the soil or RW or whatever you're going to use.
I had some seeds i forgot about in the past (germed a ton at once, few were forgotten) do that and the growth was very explosive (Hydro).

im not trying to be rude by saying this but seems like you have alot to learn before your going to have any sucess with growing.

on a side note that seedling should do well once planted and allowed to molt its seed shell

just pop it in soil with the shell of the seed at the top about an 1/8 inch sticking out the top u dont want ur rots to grow into ur paper napkins

I know it may seem that way because this is the first stage in growing, but I always had trouble with seedlings... once they sprout and are alive they seem to be much easier to care for, at least for me. I've just never crowdsourced for information before and finding that doing so is helpful.

All you need is a good cfl right above the soil. 1-2" away from the seedlings top.

That 600 is a waste of energy right now. I usually put mine under the MH and HPS when theyre at least 6". But were talking usually 9-12 little ones under 1.

Nothing? Not even a cheapo lamp you dont use? It'll save you money too.

How are you planning on growing? 12/12 from seed or veg for X amount of time per day?
If you go with the latter, you'd be better with a cfl for the cost reasons. Just a thought...

Well I've got a Magnum flashlight

I suppose I could go out and buy a lamp, their not that expensive, and get a soft white bulb. The baby will just have to hang in there until tomorrow morning before seeing the light of day.

I'm thinking a 18/6 cycle for vegging, then the 12/12 for flowering. Right now I got a MH bulb in, my HPS was delivered broken. I suppose that light is better than no light though?
