A Sativa dominant in my Indica SOG. Hmm

I'm about 3 weeks into flowering and one of the plants is definitely looking like it's more sativa than indica (clones came from a friend). It's the only one not really budding and it's starting to tower above the rest of them. I already topped it once a couple of weeks ago but it's still growing faster than ever. Should I just keep hacking off the top branches until it slows down, or is that too stressful during flowering?

LST and super-cropping will minimize stress.

You're about three and a half weeks now? I'd pull those branches down gently as best you can, if they're not too stiff yet. If they are stiff already they should stretch slower, just rig some strings or a screen to keep 'em held down so they don't stretch further.
