I have some seeds that sprouted on the 1st and i am wondering if they will grow properly. I am in texas and the weather during the day is fairly nice(60-65). If i bring them inside at night will the be ok. Will the length of the days force them in to flower before april or will they just continue to veg. Thanks guys.

should be fine. the days are getting longer and will continue to do so up until 6/21....the plants detect this and will stay in veg mode for ya. if the temps at night stay at 45f and above leave em outside. otherwise bring em in when necessary, just leave in an east facing window (if possible) so they get light from sunrise on. and even if for some reason they do start to show sex, good for you. be easier to get the males out!

you might want to get a cfl and just veg till the weathers right. My bro live there and the weather comes and goes it is an el nino winter so I would not trust outside sun until maybe march. There is alot of cold wet weather hitting there. I saw even Houston last week had a high of 39F so a cheap cfl for veg till the weather gets a little more "normal" down there

yea, the weather does fluctuate a bit but i think in a few weeks or so it will be pretty steady. I considered buying an artificial light but i love growing under the natural rays of the sun. Thanks for your input though, it's much appreciated.

BOOM, my boy would keep his plants under 18/6 indoors as necessary until vernal equinox, which is Mar. 20 2010 @ 1:32pm EDT.

Edit: At this point the natural sunlight photo period is 12/12 and increasing.

i see. I was under the impression that once late march or early april came around that the plant will just go into reveg. Doesn't the plant switch back once spring hits even if it's in flower? Just curious.

When you put them in at night you should buy 3 CFL's and enhance your growing a little more by giving them light at night :)...
