A question about clones

Ok I just took 2 clones from both my Ladies that were started last year to be ahead of the game ANYway my questions are as follow. 1 I know I dip the 45 Degree angled cut end in rooting hormone but is there any advantage or increased potential for a successful clone if I use a Dropper and let the Riot Rooter Soak up and absorb several drops of the Hormone in addition to dipping the cutting it'self in it??? and 2. Aside from keeping the Humidity high the first what is it 3 days a week Do I need to isolate them from light or give them semi exposure to sunlight I want to do this right!!! Any my Brothers and Sisters thanks for the help in advance

you could try throwin a couple drops in your rooters (couldn't hurt) but you want to give them as much light as you can early on in the cloning process. i kept my cfls on 24 hours for a few days with my clones

Just dont put too much root hormone in, I would think you can make your rapid rooter too hot with nutes if you put too much hormone in, the cutting will be better off with just tap water and a mist once or twice a day. I keep my flouros on 24/7 for a week or more.

i put mine right under 800wtt's of mh lighting 24/0..

ok gottem under a relatively low powered light right now it's a CFL but it's nutless I think 15W or some shit and it is running 24/7 at this point. I've been misting them multiple times a day to keep humidity high aswell, I also filled the tray partially with Dechlorinated water to keep things most as it were So we shall see if any of these mini ladies take or if they all kick the bucket

You guys are Awsome lol ya'll confirmed my suspicions from my last grow and attempt at cloning although I had the disadvantage last year that my clones were from a flowering plant. So most didn't make it infact only 1 did. I attribute this to A. Inexperience. and B. the fact they were already flowering. never the less I learned a great deal from that experience and so far 3 of the 4 clones have started rooting even Above the riot rooter AND I have every reason to believe the 4th is simply growing hers within the cube it'self. But ya'll validating what I essentially knew would work (I.E. Adding drops of rooting hormone to the cube it'self) gave me the confidence I needed to go forward and am pleased to report the results for others to benefit from with some variation between the four I think on average I added 4-5 Drops per Cube in Addition to dipping the cuttings themselves in it and the ratio so far is 3 out of 4 I'll update and let you know if it turns out to be 4/4 Peace and happy tokin
