so i been tryin to think of the best way to get a pound every week so far this is the best way i can think of

i have a 1000w hps cool tube for flower and gettin 3x6500k and 2x5000 cfl,s for veg
all in soil Co2 inriched

my basic idea might take a lil bit of time to get it up and runnin fully

i want to take a clone every sunday veg for 5 maybe 6 weeks so every week i have a plant ready to flower befor i put it in to flower take a new clone off it to start veg again once you take first havist your set for a harvist every week

Soo, you're wanting to harvest a pound off one plant per week?

you better get more lights and take about 15 cuttings, some wont make it and it will give you a choice of the best ones. I'd say veg 15 under a 4-600 watt for about 4-5 weeks then flower under 2 1000's. you'll have to have them in stages so youll need extra room for the 8 different levels of flowering. I hope your doing dirt other whys there a whole nother mess to deal with. Oh yeah good luck

I do all mine at once allowed 6.Then I can clean and disenfect the hole rm.For new ones

that maybe a little ambitious dont you think.first i would think u would need a fast finish strain, two hps lights and two flower rooms. veg can be done in smaller spaces because the stretch is what takes up the space. i also think that u would need 4 plants to pull this off atleast. and u would have to stagger them one week apart, thats the difficult part. i think u would have a better chance with two weeks inbetween stages to allow for enough vegging and early topping would a plus to increase yeild. and this would require alot of attention hope you have the time.

Maybe you should actually grow the marijuana plant through a few cycles before you jump on these delusions of grandeur. You're going to need to probably triple or quadruple the amount of lights your planning.

Check out SeeMoreBuds videos. He harvests 15lbs in 12 weeks. Which is like 1.4lbs a week or something........ But he has 7x 600W HPS , 4x 1000W HPS, 9x $600 aquamist aeroponic tables.....

i have to ask why you want a pound every week.... thats alot of work... plus your are going to commited to that work every week (cutting clones and harvesting)...plus your canopy is going to be a little bit harder to maintain with 10 different plant heights (just using an example of a strain with a 10 week flowering period)....

also take into consideration what MrDuke said about cutting about 15 clones because unless you are growing monster plants you are going need more than 1 plant per harvest

at the end of the day your decision but maybe consider trying for 2 pounds every 2 weeks or 3 pounds every 3 weeks... i think it would make your life alot easier

also... from what i understand from what you posted you are trying to do all this with a 1000w hps? then using a bunch of floro power for cloning and vegging?... if that is correct you might want to grab like 4 more 1000w hps ballasts and bulbs to pull of this operation lol...

Get like 4k and run about 8 new plants a week and pull 2 zips a plant. each light would have 16 plants under it at all times.

no way in hell you are doing it with 1k.

thanks i no its goin to take a bit to get it up and runnin the way i want and im not just goin head first i love the big bang from greenhouse fast finisher big yield and gr8 smoke. i want to run 6xcfls for clones 400w or 600w mh for veg and 1000w for flower all soil topped to 4 mains and lil bit of supper croping. i dont have to much room so im gion for a pound every 2 weeks takin 2 clones a week veg for 8 to 10 weeks

goin to take me a bit to fine tune this idea so any input welcome

Man I dont want to burst your bubble, but it aint never going to happen. Your math is flawed buddy. You gonna need a lot more lights, AND more clones. Get some more experience under your belt, and you will begin to see the magnitude of whats involved to produce a pound of dried smokable bud every two weeks. Thats a tall order for a beginer.

Re read xceptional's post. It is right there. His math is sound, and he knows what he's talking about. Do yourself a favor, and learn about growing through first hand experience. Then you will understand.

You just have to get the right plant.
