A potentially serious problem

It may be best to harvest a week early. No plants = no worries...and remember that state law dont mean dick to the feds and the IRS is like the bill collector for the fed. I would harvest a week early, should give you enough time to get em dried and jarred before they get to you.

Good luck,

CK

Harvest early - it's not like 3 days is going to matter.

You do NOT want to fuck with the IRS. You know, that is how they got Al Capone. The cops couldn't touch him, but the IRS nailed his ass. If they see a substantial grow operation it will automatically be tax evasion. Now in some respects they might not care about a few plants, but since they are coming to your house, I wouldn't screw around. And when it comes to the IRS, you don't have the rights you do otherwise - do NOT fuck with the IRS.

No warrant, no entry. Meet with them outside or at a coffeeshop or something. That rule doesn't just apply to cops. It can be extended to anyone including cops, social workers, IRS, or whatever.

Do NOT let them in w/o a warrant. You can arrange to meet them elsewhere and that's exactly what I would do. Plus if they're IRS they could be inspecting the inside of your home for anything out of place. Like a welfare family with a big ass LCD TV with surround sound and other stuff.

NO warrant, No ENTRY. Period.

No federal warrant no search and all objects siezed are done only federally sanctioned as well as they are not investigating you they are investigating the lawyer. He has absolutely no business in your room. Do not let him in there even if it's harvested.

Simply by allowing them in your door, anything they see can be used in order to obtain a warrant in regards to the cannabis issues and as they are investigating the accountant or whatever, give them absolutely nothing to be used against you and the most effective way to do so is to meet them in a neutral location. Now if it were the cops, I would just communicate with them by yelling through the window. I won't even open the door for them. Maintaining your privacy is not a grounds for obtaining a warrant and so long as your intelligent in other matters such as not leaving incriminating evidence in your trash and such, then you make their jobs very difficult. Especially when after you've made them go out of their way for months to find something relating you to cannabis, they come in with a warrant to find that you're doing everything in accordance with the law. Ahhh... F*ck you cops :)

The IRS has crazy sweeping powers that police do not. I can't speak as to the extent of this power but my understanding is that they can do all kids of stuff without court order, like freeze all of your accounts and assets. If I were you I would at least talk to a lawyer - the last thing you want to do is listen to people on this forum.
