A pictorial grow…..Ethos Grandpa’s Cookies under 2 Gavita LED’s

This crop is taller than any other crop I’ve done under LED’s and nothing has been changed other than the strain so I’m attributing it to Genetics. And I’ve done
80% sativas so it’s been interesting to say the least. Actually, I’ve always heavy defoliated and this time I didn’t so that probably has much to do with it too. It’s great when everything comes together, is healthy and loving life........

Listen, I'm like the KING of defoliation..........my first 6 crops under LED's I defoliated the crap out of them and pulled leaves thru the entire grow. The veg growth under these white lights is amazing. I'm actually running an experiment and am resisting the urge to remove a bunch. This is also a strain that's not leafy......yeah, right. LOL I did remove 8 of the largest sun leaves the first 2 weeks of flowering though, so keep that in mind. Everything is super healthy, no runts which is nice. I will begin doing a flush every 3rd watering now, so there's no salt buildup too.......

I'm averaging around 103 oz each crop out of the room. I'm leaving extra leaf this time and will see how it affects the final yield. And I still may go in and strategically remove a few leaves here and there, just to open up underneath a bit.

Aye looked more ‘leafy’ than your other runs.

When you say flush what volume are we talking about here? Pots volume worth of water? 2x?

No, I typically water with less volume than most people, but more often......... so if I'm putting in 1/2 gallon a day in each pot, when I flush I run the same amount thru the pots. It just keeps the fertilizer from building up too much in the medium. With the dehumidifier running at all times, it tends to dry out the pots each 24-36 hours.

FYI...... so I continue to fertilize with the "transition" Pure Blend Pro (2-3-4) until the end of week 6 when I change to bloom at 1-4-5. This slow change keeps the plants greener than normal, and overall healthier.

Heck no…….I just run the water thru right where they are. I don’t do them all at once though, maybe one side of the room and the next day the other.

Just wait a few weeks, this is a heavy yielding strain, and you’ll be amazed what’s coming over the next 5 weeks.

There’s OG Kush genetics from both parents, so it’s a bit kushy right now, maybe a 5 on a scale of 1-10. It will knock your socks off by week 9.

The other side, which is taller and below, has become a bitch and a half to water. Now I remember why I top and heavily defoliate. My back has been killing me the last few days trying to reach the back row to water.
