A Nice Shelf For Vegging

I picked up this shelf at Lowes a few weeks ago and it's just awesome. Lightweight, inexpensive, sturdy, and it's really easy to assemble. It cost about $20 and came in beige, white and black. Although the picture doesn't show it, this shelve is made of milk crate material. The one I bought has a grated style on the shelves instead of what is pictured. The black one is nice.

The reason I bought this shelf was because I went through almost a whole grow in one tent from seed and then my plants died at at the 5th week of flowering. So because of that I've decided to veg plants separately to cut down on time between harvests. The only drawback is this shelf isn't going to veg a future 6 footer. But this shelf will fit 2 fixtures that each hold 2 T5 bulbs. I'm using the 2 foot long high output lights, rigged onto the shelf with zip ties (they do everything). I've never really used T5s to grow. I'm really hoping the lights can grow clones to 1 foot tall.

Anyway, just thought I'd post this to give you guys ideas.

By the way, all the cardboard and tape is not for the typical light proofing purposes one would see in a grow, but just to keep this from catching someone's eye who's walking through the garage. I've seals up all of the big light leaks, and you can see through the tape if you look at it up close, but like I said, it's really so if anyone goes into my garage for anything they will just kind of overlook it.

Just added pics. These girls are stretched because I first attempted to use one T5 that I bought from Lowes. It was really weak. Anyway the plants do seem to be responding now.
