Hey guys I’ve got a basement grow going on approximately 6x10 room of area to grow. This is my first grow I’ve Got 11 Autos going this round but think I may go Photos from here on. Anyway just wondering about a new light as I have atleast a 5x5 area I can still fill. Currently in order I purchased my first lights, mind you this is all on a budget being middle class. King Plus 1000w LED, Bestva Reflector Series 600w LED and a Phlizon CREE Cob Series 1000w LED. I am happy with the results of them all seem to be growing fairly well. Currently looking at the Spider Farm 2000w Quantum Board LED or sticking with Phlizon getting a 2000w CREE Cob. With a 350$ budget on a new light any other suggestions than these two? Or which one of these two should I get? Thanks

I would go get some HLG V1 qbs, 49$ a piece and each will do a 2x2 if powered properly. With a 240 driver its about 150$ for a 240w draw, high efficiency light.

The only mentioned light that i wouldnt shit can is spiderfarmer sf series which seems well, ok but not great.

I own both Amare Technology lights and BML SPYDR (600), Nicks first company, pre Fluence

My next like will likely be 2 @ 2000 Spider Farmers, because they have a full spectrum of the important monos, and they spread the light evenly over the canopy, unlike CoBs (my 3 Amares are CoBs).

2 SFs @ 2000 provides flexibility AND if wanted one can put a reptile fixture in between

The HLGs can always be updated with a v2 or whatever when they begin to be cycled out. Two plugs and a few screws, 5 minutes!

I am running the phlizon 2000 cob in my grow. It will veg a 3.5x3.5 area very well. It will only cover flowering in a 3.5 x 2.5 area adequately for myself. I am in a 4x4 tent and have added some hps watts to make up the difference I was short. The phlizon is very good for what it does cover so I am quite content with it and would not advise against it. I would go with the 3000 for the 5x5 area you want to cover.

You could order the spider farmer 4000 direct from Alibaba for about $250 with shipping. Probably the best deal Ive seen. You can get a nice 480W kit with easy dimming for under $350. I recommend Meijiu.
