Dude the room looks great so far! props for the killer prep work

Not looking forward to the day I will have to replace my old cracked concrete floor... the joys of a 100 year old house!

Go for a Premium Gorilla grow tent if you haven't already purchased one. You won't be disappointed :blsmoke:
I actually have a yield lab tent already. I watched a YouTube video directly comparing a 4x4 GGT to a YL 4x4 tent and the results were interesting. Not saying the GGT isn't better quality but the YL was definitely more bang for the buck from my perspective.

Thanks a lot! I knew I wanted a small grow space but I wanted to keep it hidden from friends and family. I figure the back of an 8x12 storage closet that I can keep locked is about as good a place as any. I kinda wish I had 2 2x4 tents instead of 1 4x4 tent, but oh well... I already have the light and tent so I'm just going to go with it. Maybe later I will down size to a 2x4 but for now this is what I have. I think I want to paint the floor before I start a grow in here also.

Did some sanding and painting this week. I don't have the carbon filter hooked up yet but the tent and light are all set up. I didn't tape and mud the corners. It's just a storage closet/ grow room. Maybe I'll tape them up later but I wanted to get growing.

So I am worried that 5 plants may not fill out my 4x4 grow tent... So I am adding 2 more plants to the grow list. I will still be growing 2 Critical Orange Punch and 2 Strawberry Nuggets. But instead of just 1 Rhino Ryder I will grow 2 and add a Northern Cheese Haze to the tent.

Lol... So since I am going with 7 plants instead of 5 I decided I should choose plants that are advertised to be about the same size. So here is the final list that I will be germinating after work tonight.
2 Mephisto Strawberry Nuggets
2 Mephisto Sour Stomper
2 Mephisto Northern Cheese Haze
1 Mephisto 4 Assed Monkey

So today I hooked up the carbon filter, inline fan, a small circulation fan, and my humidifier. This room was staying in the 60's and around 60% humidity before I installed the tent and light. Now in the tent it is staying between 77 and 80 degrees and around 39% humidity. So I set the humidifier@ 70%. Stared the seeds by soaking them for 12 hours Sunday night. Put them in peat pellets Monday morning. PXL_20220103_150459790.jpgPXL_20220103_150501973.jpgPXL_20220104_222421188.jpg

So the strawberry Nuggets popped through the soil surface last night and the sour stompers and 1 Northern Cheese Haze have broken through this morning. Just waiting for 1 more NCH and the 4AM. Also the humidity levels went up quite a bit when I put the 2 pots in the tent for the 2 Strawberry Nuggets. So I'm hoping to see similar results when I put the other 5 pots in the tent.

So I just checked on the kids... The NCH that had popped but wasn't spreading its leaves is now sprouting it's first set of true leaves. Also overnight the 4AM popped through the soil and is already showing it's first true set of leaves. The SN & SS all looking good so far. Small but good.
I have been worried about the humidity levels only being in the low 40's. So I ordered a new, bigger & better humidifier. I think it alone will get me to the 60-70% I am looking for. If not I will run both humidifiers until I am happy... Hopefully once the plants get a little bigger they will create their own humidity. I have 2 big dehumidifiers I can run later if the humidity gets too high. If the last NCH doesn't break the surface by tomorrow, I will plant another one... Or at least another seed, maybe not NCH. I have several other strains and breeders to choose from.

If the autos don't work out for me this run, I will likely be running some photos in April. I have some good genetics to choose from.

Ok got my new humidifier today. Hoping it is just what I needed. It seems to put out a lot more mist. Also I went ahead and put a thin layer of rice hulls on the top of the pots for a mulch layer to help keep the surface of the soil from drying out as much. Also got better labels for the girls. Now if the last NCH would pop soon, we could get the humidity dome outa here and focus on a clean tidy grow tent. PXL_20220114_202733713.jpgPXL_20220114_202741315.jpg

I think if the new Northern Cheese Haze does not pop, I will just go with the 6 plants we have now.... I am already trying to decide what to grow on the next run. What do you guys want to see? More Mephisto strains? A Mephisto freebie run, Fastbuds, sweet seeds, Dutch Passion, Night Owl, Twenty20 Mendocino, HSO, HSC, royal Queen Seeds, Dinafem, Gnome " Mandalorian", Firebudz, Morning Star? I have a lot to choose from!

So I got my new oscillating vivosun fan today.. we will see how this one holds up. Their old model sucked but they claim to have fixed the problems. I may order another one later if this one seems to work well. Also I gave up on the other Northern Cheese Haze seed. Maybe I need to order another pack. I feel like this one must have been from a bad seed run. I haven't had luck with any seeds from this pack. Anyhow my temps are staying pretty steady around 75-76 degrees and my humidity is slowly going up. I'm around 51% now... Looking forward to the plants producing enough humidity that I won't have to run the humidifier anymore. Anyhow... Take a look. The girls are getting bigger. Especially the strawberry nuggets and sour stompers.PXL_20220120_134622733.jpg

So far I have been growing with the lights on 24/7. This morning I cut the lights back to 20/4 to give the plants a break. I will run this cycle the rest of the grow.

Wow, so I didn't realize it has been 2 weeks since I shared an update. The plants have been through a lot these past 2 weeks. I thought I was under watering so I watered but very little and nothing changed.... So I worried I was wrong and I was over watering... So I stopped watering. Then a few days later my plants were droopy due to lack of water. So now I am watering again and I'm not watering more often really. I am just watering more when I water. And now my plants leaves are still praying even though they are curled down from the watering issues. I was told by professional growers that I am probably seeing a nitrogen toxicity as a side affect of the under watering. Here is what we have now... This is going to be day 37.
