The only thing that makes this country music is his accent IMO. Idk, with all the electronics in music today make a lot of genres blend together, again, IMO. However, my wife just asked me why I stopped it halfway through lol. She likes the song. Actually, I do too. But it ain't country music.

That songs nowhere near country. R n B, hiphop, dance music. I don't want to stab my ear out while im listening to it but barely. Did you notice he was wearing white sneeks not cowboy boots? And i dont even think i saw him with a hat on once. Its like American idol threw up all over a country song. Bleck.

I don't like rap/hip hop so maybe biased. and I DEF hate pop and new country (which is essentially pop) so my vote would be meh. The guy has a nice voice though and should think about going plain old school country.

PS the Johnny Cash tunes will always trump any of this new shit any day. LOVE HIM

What I think is funny is that (and I'm generalizing here) country fans and rap fans are historically and currently often at odds with each other. Don't believe me fly a rebel flag at a popular rap concert or start blasting T-Pain or whoever is popular at a Toby Keith concert. Either way, there's likely to be shit.

And yet they all sing about the exact same things. Cars, Drugs, and Women, usually how each respective group has the most of said items. Besides instruments and tempo you can't even tell the 2 genres apart anymore. And yet, America still has race problems, even though they all want the same thing.

Now Ima be a hipster faggot and go blast some Run the Jewels and Devil Makes Three.

Lol this song is more country dubstep. I can dig the song, actually it's a little addictive. But I only listen to it when nobody else is around.

Lol you didn't even make pass the intro.. It's all good, I figure this isn't your genre.
Im gonna guess that its not even close to anyones genre except yours man. Admiting you listen to this even when your alone makes baby jesus cry. Im not a country enthusiast but i can listen to it and sing along in the truck to most of the good ole songs, but this aint country plain and simple. Its like an emo kid, lost and scared and trying to be accepted by some genre to fit in.

I'm above genres. I respect good music. Jesus is not real.

Jesus is real. He lives in the clouds and sends people who listen to that kind of country to hell. It is not good music. I mean i could agree with you and be all like,"that song is like totally awesome!"..........but then wed both be wrong.
Well it was a poll.. To each their own.. I'm curious of what you find as good music.

Ok ill play. it used to be white zombie, nin, nofx, rancid, metallica, black sabbath, beatles, cash, floyd, ccr, and sublimeish in high school. Then i did a lot of rave drugs and got into house and trance for a bit but not long. I still like a little dubstep like dead mau5 but not much. Then i went through a country phase not by choice but i can still sing along to some of the good ones. Now its more of an indy sounding beat i like, tapes 'n tapes, the lumineers, the national, cold war kids, horror pops, wolf parade, spoon, she wants revenge, the deers, the shins, the pixes and old rock like aerosmith, guns n roses, with a little lighter oldies like john denver thrown in there.
My musical tastes have mellowed since highschool, as i grow i dont want to smash shit as much anymore.
Heres a good country song for ya ;)
