its purpose and design was to clean and destroy all odors to revitalize the soul and mind. hence: marrying the therapeutic benefits of aromatherapy essential oils with water-based filtration to spring-clean your surrounding air of bacteria and fungi and improve your body resistance.
amongst other things, it will eliminate completely smells of irremovable odors such as skunk stank. :)

The only problem with weed smelling like roses is that it will taste like rosees too.
Don't get me wrong, I like the product, but to say that it will replace a carbon filter is not true.
Carbon filters clean air, that stuff covers up odors, not even on the same page. It's like spraying your underwear down with Febreeze instead of washing them.

read mate, here is how it works, click this link... it does clean the air. my buds dont taste like rose at all lol...

A recent study by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture found that ionizing a room led to 52% less dust in the air, and 95% less bacteria in the air (since many of the pollutants found in the air reside on floating dust particles).

Journal of Applied Microbiology
The use of negative ions was even found by scientists to reduce the presence of airborne viruses by about 40%. A study featured in the 1987 issue also showed the negative ions are free from any adverse side effects.

The epa has a limit on how much you can even produce. Sure it kills
micro, but it kills you too. We used to use it at the lab to clean
testubes and petri dishes. We had a EPA inspection to see how much we
were emmiting and the emissions had to go out the building - OSHA.

The consequences are much worse than sinutitus. And it can also
accerbate vasomotor rhintitus.

It is just a plain bad Idea.

Get the EPA free literature on indoor air quality

Seems as there is a different opinion.

This thing doesn't look like it used ions, it is a water scrubber system.... Just like tha vaccums that use water as a filter to catch the dust/particles. Seems pretty clen to me....

I read the faqs it does produce neg ions.

That's totally different that ionic filtration. Ions filtration is something totally different.

But I agree, not enough info here. I will place it outside my closet, and see how it goes. I'll let you all nkow, Cheers

mine isnt inside my grow room, however, what i was trying to say, is that this machine can sit outside your grow room and eliminate any leakages of odors comming from your grow room thus you dont need to have a carbon filter in there.

your grow room will always smell like weed, and if you dont have a carbon filter, the smell will be really bad, however, if you put one of these machines outside your grow room, the STINK will be confined to your grow room...

there... maybe i explained my self better when i said it can substitute a carbon filter
