does having the roots just sitting in the water on this picture increase the chance of rootrot? ive just gotten into growing myself and have read abit and was wondering if it would cause any problems doing it like that with the pop bottle

those are not roots, its the nylon cord

just make a tie to prevent the roots reaching the water through the hole...

finally i know the sex of the plants
