Sounds fine. The only thing to worry about is too much fan. If you can lessen it go ahead, maybe point it at the ceiling. All you need is some moving air as opposed to stale air. Drying too fast isn't good. If it seems like it is getting dry break a stem. if it breaks sharply it is dry. Then take a bud and cut it open, see if there is any dampness on the inside. When dry through put it in jars and began curing, open them to breathe every day.

As long as u gave it a good trim and a good 10days for the curing ull bee good to go.it still May smell a lil grassy but once u break it open the nice weed smell will be there. Don't underestimate the internal moisture of ur bud. Jus cuz its crispy as fuk on the outside don't mean its ready for the jars. Be sure to wait till the stems snap b4 jarring. Nvr under estimate the iner moisture. Open jar every day and move buds around inside it. I actually take it all outta the jars and let it sit for a few hrs b4 jarring agn and depending on how moist they feel the next day after they sweat, I may jus do it agn. Jus make sure they r dry enuff b4 u jar it and if it still feels really moist then let it sit out a few hrs agn. hay smells much better then mold. Oh, keep a piece of fresh stalk in a ziplock in the freezer incase u over dry. Then u can add moisture back into it by placing the stalk in with the weed over night.

The grassy smell is the chlorophyll. That will give way to the dank smell of bud after the drying has occurred.

Just breathe into the jar after you burp it once most of the moisture is out (or overdry) Think puffing on a mirror or window to frost it up

You'll be amazed at how it cures out by doing this, as it displaces the O2 with CO2 and reduces oxydation

Been doing this for years, will even make swag better :bigjoint:

They get crispy when dry. The danger of drying too fast is they can be like that on the outside but still moist on the inside and that could lead to bud rot. Cut one open and see how crispy or moist it is on the inside and go from there.

like the others have said - the outside dries out while there is still too much water on the inside. if you were to put them in jars today they would be very wet by tomorrow. so - keep hanging for a couple more days.

I never knew why people said to squezze the buds but I did today and I think I know why well my buds feel like there a little dry kind of crispy on the outside and the stems are hard not snapple yet. but I can kind of feel some wet inside when I squeeze and hold it lol. but isnt weed supposed to be sticky it just feels dry and kind of crsipy I hope everything is cool? maybe curing does HELP ALOT LOL

It is proper curing that makes great bud! period!! :bigjoint:

Mine have been in the jar for 7 days and the smell is just like that taste we all love, with a deep inhale I can actually taste it

Curing is a wonderful thing and is not difficult at all

You're worrying too much. Kill the fan and let them hang a couple more days. Then cut a bud open to check. If you put them in jars a bit early it's still ok. But you should open the jars twice a day for awhile, then once a day for, IMO, 30 days.
