a little help please??

hi everyone, im coming to the final stages of my first grow and thinking of my next lol.
im happy with how this grow has gone but it was in a closet so it was a little tight for space and could only do 2 plants, with slight burns on top

so what im thinkin is boxing off part of the back bedroom in my small house,
i want to make it about 4' x 4', but it needs to fit 4 plants, a 600w HPs and an air con unit which is 2x2x2,

Q. has anyone got any ideas for a good layout which will fit the aircon and 4 plants with enough room to grow??

also im thinkin bout running the exhaust pipe from the aircon over the 600w bulb to help cooling, i would put a glass coffee jar over the bulb, with the bottom of the jar removed and another pipe and fan attached to pull the air through see pic..
Q. does anybody know if by puttin a glass jar over the bulb would it limit the lumens emitted, and does anyone have a lumen tool they could check with?

also my room is 8.5feet high and my pots are 1foot side to side.
im also thinking of incorperating some of these growing techniques...

can you put the ac outside the grow box?

not really because one of the outlets is the front pannel of the aircon, also i dont really want anything on show.

skip that stupid coffee jar bullshit.. that is ghetto as fuck not to mention tacky and crappy. buck up and spend $85 on a cooltube from htgsupply, comes w/ the 15' cord n all so u can keep ur ballast outside ur growspace (for heat issues).
a/c is a decent idea depending on which kind u go with. if u want one u can just sit in ur growspace it will run you about $250-300 and you wouldn't run the a/c exhaust tube through the light that would be silly. the only other a/c option is a window mount in which u would need the backside of it to be outside the growbox bc it produces too much heat and that wouldn't make sense for a bedroom.

here's ur ideal setup for that growspace:

-portable a/c unit (can sit inside the grow area)
Electronic Control Portable Air Conditioner

-Cooltube.. goto htgsupply.com

-6" inline fan (exhaust fan) if u goto htgsupply they have a 250cfm inline duct fan for $35, u can of course go bigger.

-Carbon scrubber that will sit on the outside of grow box that the exhaust will be venting through.

lol thanks, im using an air con i have and for the wardrobe grow i havent needed to switch on the cooling, im using it as a big fan at the mo so the exhaust is blowing cold, its sat outside the closet n the exhaust is being used for cooling with a couple of other little fans to keep the air moving and a fan to extract.
