a little advice, just got a couple of amber hairs.

Here's the thing. just checked on my 3 plants, and 1 of my plants (freebie seed) has got a couple of amber hairs on a few of the buds. there almost 5 weeks into flower and wasnt expecting to see these for a couple of weeks yet.
This plant was a freebie seed (Double Diesel Ryder) and it came in a small plastic bullet case with nothing more than the initials written on it. my question is, is it normal to see these this early on or is this plant going to be ready sooner rather than later. this is my 1st grow into bud so a bit unsure. was thinking i was going to have a few more weeks of fattening up. how long (estimate) am i looking at?
canna really get a proper photo of my phone to make anything out im affraid.

You can get hairs rather early. Very strain dependant. Just make sure to read up on how to tell when to harvest and don't do it purely on the number of gold hairs. It should still have a good 2-3 weeks to go at a minimum. 7 weeks flowering is generally a rarity, and anything under that is almost unheard of.

aye was thinking about the 8 week mark. the buds are looking sweet and was thinking that another 3 weeks growth it would be a cracking harvest. just panic'd a bit thinking it was near done. here's a couple of photo's of the grow but canna get close detail.

Normal for the stage of growth. Buy a handheld microscope - $15 - in 40X and check trichomes, not dead pistils.

One of mine had hairs starting to amber up around the third week of flowering, and I am now in the 6th or 7th, not sure which, and I have at least a month to go yet.
But since it's bagseed, I'm not looking at the calendar except to the looming rainy season :(
