that, and i think your plants a trifolate. its a genetic mutation where instead of symetrical leaf nodes of 2 the plant has nodes with 3 symetrical leaves comming out. Search for trifolate youll find it.

thnx closet it will look it up.....but since i have lowered the temp i actually have alot of new growth....the roots were tinting brown and abour 3-4 days later they r back to white again.....i really dont have a light leak i checked for that and didnt see anything thank god....but keeping the rez down is a bitch im babysitting this monster all day long.....

my pump is heating the res up bigtime, im searching around for a good chiller and from there i think i could hopefully be alright...but its all trial and error and its pretty fun to learn...

thnx for the help....

hey guys I had a problem with my res temps from my sub pump. luckily for me It was also an inline pump so now I just pump the water out and into the pump keeps that hot motor out of my res and definately lowers the temps in there. I went from 85 to 70 in a day.

i think that youve found your problem , your res was smokin hot,65-68 is optimal,co2 will allow you to run a hotter garden but not a hot res. keep a good eye out for root rot and make sure your running a air pump with air stones in your res, if your water temp goes up it holds much less o2. ive had to cut back my aero pump timer to keep heat down in my res intell i bought a chiller, now i never worry, good luck!

ya man it sucks i see new growth every day now that i have my res under control but i have one bad problem now , my lower roots r turining brown.....i have mass buds everywere a great smell actually it doesnt smell like blueberry like a fruity aroma, it smells lemony....weird huh....i just looked and seen some of my trics r turning brown also which is not another good sighn for the size of the buds that i had.....

but all in all is was a fun ass learning experiment and i bet i will do better next time.....i have to controll my ppms better and frigin rob a chiller lol....

thnx again for all your help i wish i knew how to add rep cause i would give to all of ya...ty again....

im really new at this too, before i got a chiller my res was 75,even hit 80 one day and overnight i had brown roots, a experienced aero guy told my about 2 products, one being hygrozyme and the other was rootzone, ive used hygrozyme and its saved my ass twice in one grow, once before i got my chiller and once after leaving my garden way to long. you can get new roots right threw brown shitty ones. you can get a small chiller on e bay for 210, frozen bottles are a pain

ya man u r telling me i have 20 frozen 2liter bottles in my freezer and im basically babysitting every few hours shutting the pump off and on and cooling the res......ebay huh im going to look right now....u have an aeroflo right? were did u hook the chiller up to the drain valve?

i bought a aqua euro cl85 nano chiller off ebay with express shipping for 212, it works great for cooling my 7-9 gallon res water, i can get my cab up to 90 while my res stays 68-69 if i had to cool a bigger res id get a little bigger one. all you do is hook up a pump to run it tru the chiller and back into your res,its an easy install, put a ball valve on your pump so you can dial in the flow to the chiller and your set,

my opinion no rez should get over 75 i keep mine between 65-68 with an airstone water can hold more oxygen at that temp what i would do is flush thoroughly add cannazyme because it breaks down dead roots and turns them into goods for new roots rhizotonic and cannazyme are excellent for buiding good root systems i stunted the F#%K outa mine and i cant believe how myn have turned out

y i hve been searching for a few days for a good chiller....i seen the one sancho has its like 159 right now on eaby.....but im pretty sure i have a 25gal res maybee its a little bigger and they want about 300 and change for the thing...but since i have been cooling the res down which i know is a fucking huge factor now my the babies r sprouting new roots and they r white white white.....so something good is happening....

lets see what happens i will post some new pics soon enough gents thnx for all the help much appreciated....

i know the light leak question has been asked and answered but it does really seem like a light leak.
do you have any electronics in the room that may be shining a small amount of light in your room? like a digital display on a a/c, power strips, temp gauges, dehumidifier, ect, ect.

(my co2 sensor/controlor was putting off a lot a light and i didnt realize at first.)
