a good medium to use in an aeroponics sytem

im getting ready to make my own aeroponics system with a 18gal storage tub air pump aquarium air stone and all that stuff you need... but i need to know what would be a good medium to plant my plants in, ive heard pea gravel but not sure if i should use it, so could you help me out, like what i could use and where i could get it...... plz and thank you

by aeroponic system it sounds a lot more like you are talking about bubbleponics/hydroponics.

you jsut want to get yourseed or clone in a rockwool cube and then have that in a net pot surroinded by some clay hydroton pebbles
