Hey sweetie
I've ran through your thread real quick and read it all...
Here's the Bottom line,,the lights you are using are :
1) Too small,what will you do when you enter 12's and the stretch takes place?
It will be massive with such low amount of Lumens.
2) The space between the light source and the foilage is too far.
those cfl's in that current configuration will only suffice for the 1st
week.
You really need to dig deep and see if you can scratch up enough loot
to buy at the very least a 400 watt ballast and bulb with a hood.
This is such a big difference,you'll see growth like you do in the movies!!!

Try Ebay and definitely go with 1000 bulbs.com for the bulbs...they have
for example these Plus rite 400 watt meta Halides and HPS for about $7
a bulb and they are A ok I bought some to try and compare to some
Sylvania and Eye ,,,guess what? same quality and the specs are listed at
the site.... these same bulbs by sylvania are sold at Home depot for $25-29
Fuggin Crooks .....
That's my advice to you in a nutshell...and avoid ordering any lighting or
supplies from any online hydro store,,,that's a risk nobody needs to take.

gosh i am so sad, it took so long for me to get my "female" big and have it turn into a MALE!
oh well, time to germinate more seeds then!
plus, I am just going to keep my 4 CFLS for now since i am just germinating again.

wow... im sure you will... is that only 4 cfls though? If your planning on making it to be able to see if their ladies Id strongly suggest more light... also is that a heat lamp? Be VERY careful with those things, heard many horror stories. It's better the the plants to get their heat from the light itself, if their not, lower those cfls, it will also prevent stretching. Wishing the best for you!

i plan on keeping roughly around 10 plants
we chose to germinate all the seeds because we were sick of always getting males.
first im going to grow all 50
plants that are not growing well or fast -trashed
plants that are yellow -trashed
plants that are male -trashed
that way i can narrow down the plants i really want to keep.
