Hi everyone. I have a small garden in my closet and a few of the plants are showing some problems. Three of them specifically have an issue where the top leaves are curling downward. The ridges on the leaves look very deep. The one that was effected by this first is now severely yellowing and has stopped showing any signs of vegetative growth. I am not sure what the problem is. I tried stepping up the nutes a bit and that didnt seem to help. Now I have been flushing it for a couple days hoping for improvement.

So, any ideas what is wrong with these girls? Two are sour kush and one is stacked kush. Different ages from 2-4 weeks old under t5s. I will also mention that i don't think it is an over/under water issue as I water very regularly and have good drainage as well in my soil

you said the problem right here, you shocked it. leave it alone, no nutes, no water, just let it recover for a few weeks.

if not over watering, my best bed would be either a PH issue or lack of Mg/Ca

weed need Magnesium and calcium to take up the NPK, specially need Magnesium to take up the Nitrogen, so if you don't provide enough/any Mg or your PH is out (under 6) your plants can't use the Nitrogen, and adding more just give you more problems

just my 2€

having a similar issue myself and after hours of google i am positive i am in mag deficiency......i have to go today to get the stuff to correct before the girls are beyond help..........

As Jesus said, lay off of everything for a few days. Make sure that soil gets a chance to dry a bit between waterings, roots need air just as much as they need water. And make sure there is good ventilation and air flow in your closet. Giving more nutes is rarely the answer to any problem. Good luck

Ventilation is great forced in from basement through floor and out through attic. i also, have drilled holes from bottom two inches up for air to get to the bottom of the pot i did a TP today and roots look very strong and are dense  although currently using cfl's not liking so much mh and hps 400w come next week hopefully see a big difference

They look over watered......"VERY REGULARLY", sounds like too much. let your soil dry out between EVERY WATERING!!!! lift your plant pots and get familiar with their wet and DRY weights... IF you keep your soil wet constantly you are asking for trouble (poor root system=poor production)... maybe fill a pot with soil and keep it close by so you can compare weight once you THINK they are dry? :peace:

I agree. That looks like textbook overwatering to me. The fact that it got worse when you flushed it repeatedly and fed it further supports this.

Are you watering all your plants at the same time? That's a bad idea when you have different strains (or even different phenos of the same strain) regardless of whether they are all the same age. Not all plants grow at the same speed, so not all plants need the same watering frequency. Often one or two will really thrive, and slurp up any water you give them. If you water the whole garden when the vigorous ones get thirsty, you're overwatering the rest...

yep...see your plants as individual plants. they will be happier, and so will you.... :weed: (I feel sick/down if they do!)

These look like they are not receiving enough light. May be they're too big for those t5s. Over watering is common with floro if you're sticking with t5 try getting the temp higher
