a few denver questions...

So I plan on going to Denver soon. I heard the rules changed a bit last month for dispensaries and what they can do, but don't know how this affects me as a non resident. I went there in July, and was wondering if prices have come down any since then as a result of these changes, or if they might in the future. Also, since I'm going there around Thanksgiving, what will Black Friday be like in terms of dispensary sales? Will they be having special sales of any kind, or is that even allowed? Surely prices wouldn't stay the exact same...

They're selling everything they can grow, so don't expect huge discounts from the last time you were out.

One thing has changed; DUID enforcement. Colorado cops will FUCK YOU OVER for smoking weed while driving- and they've been spending the last year gaining relevant training and awareness.

Do NOT admit you've been smoking weed if you're driving and if you're going to smoke on the road, have a cigarette in the ashtray ready to light the instant you see a cop behind you.

If you haven't been smoking, it's no problem to tell the officer you have some you just bought from a dispensary- they have child proof safety bags for transportation now, so pay the three bucks for one- and he'll be fine with it.

Better yet, meet up with some friends you've met here and smoke up at their house!

Damn, that sucks. I wanted crazy deals. I don't plan on driving fucked up, but what's with the bags? Is it somehow "illegal" not to have one? I know not every bottle is sealed, but still, how does being in a black bag prove I haven't just smoked? My dad went recently and he mentioned them, but when I first went down there in June or July I never even heard about them. Sounds kind of ridiculous.

Fuck, I wish I knew somebody up there. Would make getting seeds so much easier. I was also wondering about smoke houses, or legal bars for smoking. Anybody know of any good ones? I didn't see any last time. I do plan on taking a tour bus if possible, because I really want to tour a giant grow facility. That would be so awesome!

Sorry for the late response. I work too much. That's some crazy pics you have in your link there. You must be growing some fucking trees! That's awesome, I would be scared of burning myself on one of those bulbs though!

You must have the bag for anything that's not in a child proof container, I.E. Prerolls and edibles. Almost every dispensary has child proof containers for buds.

TRy to grab any local weed fliers/magazines that are around town, they have coupons in them that are worth grabbin up. places to find them are grow shops and headshops. Dont be afraid to call the dispensary and ask for any deals

I live in Colorado...
