Will those outdoor cfl flood lights help my garden.I have a 125w cfl outdoor flood light that i've been wondering would benifit my plants.I'm currently using a 400wMH along w/5 T-5s in a 3x3x7.5 grow area.I've never used "cfls" but after reading many threads on the subject,I think i want to at least try them for a little while to see what if anything will happen, thanx for the feedback :hump:

wait are you askign if they will help your garden out side? if so you would have to keep them pretty close with in a few inches. Idont really see the point especially since your getting sunlight on it. I personally wouldnt bother. plus like i said cfls need to be close so if your flood lights are alreayd set and they are not close to the plants there really is not a purpose. hope that helps.Oh one other thing if you are referring to using them in ur indoor grow agian I would not bothe rif youhaev the T5's and your 400w there really is ntohing a cfl can add to that :) GL

It will definitely help, it might not be neccesary but more is better! it doesnt have the spread to benefit the whole garden but a shaded area or something, just place it as close as possible to the plant without burning.
