A/C BTU two small unit's or one large? Difference? two 5k's vs one 10k.

Due to my flower room being located in a heat generating sweaty as balls area, in a fucked to shit climate, A/C s the only practical thing to combat heat. I been growing bag seed (which was pretty potent, and everyone likes it, including myself) but i been having some of them hermie, and I'm taking a guess its heat stress (without a/c my temps are 90's) With my poorly sealed area with 1 5k btu a it can hit mid 80's, After harvest I'm sealing every fucking air leak i can with lots of drywall, and insulation, relocating the one 5k btu window unit put in poorly, to make the area even smaller, and with it all sealed, I'm sure the temps will be better and the hermies will stop. Although, I'm not 100%, So I may add another 5k btu after sealing as well. Instead of loosing the money on the 5K i figure, two of those will do the same as a 10, am I wrong?

If after the next go That i will be starting in MAY (hottest time as well) If i still get hermies, I am scrapping all of the clones and plants, and starting fresh with some good strains from online, or from a few connections I have, to a couple cali guys.

REAL QUESTION : "Does TWO 5,000 btu air conditioners, do the same as ONE 10,000 btu, or am i assuming wrong?"
SIDE QUESTION : "Does heat stress cause hermies, no bs?"
SIDE NOTE : Already have one 5k A/C, so it plays a roll in weather two is better than one, money wise.

Two is better than one air circulation is spread out more and will work better plus you have two climate sensors, compressors, and blowers

How did it work out for you I have 1 10k I'm waiting to kick on pretty soon here cause I hit 90 the other day and I'm in the high 80s with NO co2.

Using one 10kbth/hr unit may be a little more energy efficient, two 5kbtu/hr units offers other advantages.

Set one two degrees higher and they run in stages. Say one is at 77 and other kicks in at 79 if the one unit can't keep up.

It all depends on power available, and dealing with condensation. Herms can occur with excess heat, but usually with over fertilization also. I am in a similar situation and chose a 10000 BTU portable that will deal with 2 connected rooms.. Cost $350 and only one power outlet and drain. Whynter is the company on Amazon, works great.
