Try it slower this time. This is the comment I responded to and btw your math is waaaay off, $1 increase translates to an extra $80 a week?
$1 extra per hour x 40hours =
$40
Maybe the DOE needs more funding too?

I made no comments about minimum wage not being raised. I don't get Fox News either. You are arguing points I never made and claiming logic and fact? You are making up drivel and claiming it is fact. You are truly a fool.If you want to justify not raising the Federal minimum wage, you need to defend your position with logical arguments, not 'truthy' talking points from your masters at faux spews.
That's LOGICAL argument, based on FACTS, not 'feelings' or 'beliefs'. Yes, this is a test, sadly one most conservatives can't pass. Even those in my own family.
YOU were the one who thought $40 extra in pay was a windfall and stated that raising the minimum wage by more than that would be too much.I made no comments about minimum wage not being raised. I don't get Fox News either. You are arguing points I never made and claiming logic and fact? You are making up drivel and claiming it is fact. You are truly a fool.

Busted, "pants on fire" lolYOU were the one who thought $40 extra in pay was a windfall and stated that raising the minimum wage by more than that would be too much.
The mere fact you're on this thread not supporting raising the minimum wage to a living wage IS opposing raising it you moron.
Just like a true republicunt...make statements and then later deny making them hoping hoping no one will scroll back to your very first comment on this thread.
"Assertions presented without evidence can be dismissed without evidence"According to you guys i guess the chart of the massive employment losses after the Seattle hike were just a coincidence that should be ignored because a improving economy turned around the losses? people that think they are smart and believe anyone that disagrees with them is not smart are people living in a dream world. U cant argue with the fact that after the hike Seattle jobs were lost on MASSIVE scale, the only statistics u like to show Uncle Buck are the ones that show the economic situation years after the hike, what about that 6 month period RIGHT AFTER THE RAISE where there were the largest job losses in Seattle since the last failing of capitalism? Anyone can take statistics from an economy that is improving and make it seem like some variable influenced it, when this is obviously not the case. Before the hundreds of variables came into play it was obvious that the raise in the minimum wage caused a dramatic loss of employment in Seattle in the short run. Just look at the chart....thousands of jobs lost in 6 months DIRECTLY correlating to the raise.
look above, i linked a chart"Assertions presented without evidence can be dismissed without evidence"
Care to post some evidence or will we apply the above to your assertion?
Oh a chart...look above, i linked a chart
interesting stat, wheres that come from?and illegal immigrant workers create 1.5 jobs for every job they take
Along with your assumptions as to why it is that way.A chart of the employment statistics from the fed, wtf else would u like?
I can tell u 2000% that the minimum wage increase resulted in a minimum wage increase. I hope that wasn't what you actually want to know. I assume u ment that the increase resulted in job losses?Along with your assumptions as to why it is that way.
I want an article from a reputable source catagorically stating the increase in the minimum wage in Seattle directly resulted in an increase in the minimum wage.
thin airinteresting stat, wheres that come from?
lolthin air
i literally linked to and screenshotted the BLS figures for seattle employment. it went up after the minimum wage increase you dumbass.massive employment losses after the Seattle hike
you can repeat a lie, but it is still a lie.after the hike Seattle jobs were lost on MASSIVE scale
there were more jobs after the minimum wage increase than there were before. the stats clearly show this.the only statistics u like to show Uncle Buck are the ones that show the economic situation years after the hike, what about that 6 month period RIGHT AFTER THE RAISE
even if you repeat the lie for a fourth time, it is still a lie.the minimum wage caused a dramatic loss of employment in Seattle
