he gets a pound per light min up to a pound1/2, maybe in a year i can do the same
Do what he does and you will get what he gets...

I get a pound per 600w and I a newb too... just follow a proven recipe and you will have your cake...

No reason for you not to get a pound per 1k right off the bat if you do it right...:-P

Jesus Christ this is a setup to be admired! And yeah a pound out of a 600 watt lights no problem I do it every month. I have a whole room that I grow out of, and it is nice having the room, but I started out in a closet, and didn’t think it was enough room, now I am in a big ass room and feel it’s not enough. The bigger the room gets the bigger my grow gets.

This is the 1st time ever I'm growing indoors, usually let nature do it all for me, however, I'm using 600w, really a pound for 600w?

ideal water temps should be 65-68F, within this range the water will be able to hold the most dissolved oxygen it can, im suprised with all the veterans who posted on your thread noone asked about, thank god you got those temps down, was it the larger a/c that did it? if so whats the btus you run? depending on the placment of your rez's if they are in the shade and room temp is in the 70's your water should be ok, just keep on top of it
Great grow dude! Only one comment.
Do yourself a favor and stop your grow until you get chillers.

Sounds crazy don't it? Only thing crazier is investing all that cash and coming up w/ less than desirable product.

I made that mistake myself last year and promised no way never again. Take that final step bro.

I paid $350ea. for these and they were on backorder for a month. Good Luck.

All this hydro stuff seems to be a bit of a hassle and not really worth the effort in my opinion. The last thing I want to add to my grow room is another power draining device such as a chiller. Id rather use that power cost on another light. I gotta hand it to you hydro growers though for putting up with it all coz its definitely not my thing. Thats the beauty of growing though coz there are many different ways to do it.

Best of luck mate and I hope all goes well for you.

actually, if your lucky enough to not have to deal with water temps, like many are, its amazing, if you did any hydro system once vs soil you will never go back to dirt, personally i thought soil was the hassle, mixing larges batches, oh and god when you have to flush 15gallons of water through one plant, plus the plant performance is incredible, nodes stacked on top of eachother

I havnt done soil for a long time now coz I use Coco Peat and just like your comment I dont think I would ever go back to soil. Each to their own I guess but I tried hydro and it wasnt for me. My setup is as basic as it gets and it works very well so I cant complain. All I have to do to make it even easier is to rig up an auto feed system which I will try out next time round.

Anyway as I said each to there own.

Edit: LOL Gypsy

Nice work man? You just insured yourself a top notch harvest. The active's are working just fine for me. 65deg. all day long.

MBlaze- Yes, hydro is a lot of initial setup. Once you get it going auto feeding is great. The plants get used to having food at a certain time and don't have to worry when the next meal is coming. To each his own though. You obviously have a great argument for soil. Keep up the good work guys.
