960 watts LED, Apollo13, Medicine Man, OG Kush, White Russian, G13xHashplant, 3 more

I mostly hate and avoid cloning, mainly because i haven't done it enough and i haven't been that successful with it gonna have to master it out of necessity -- don't wanna lose the true keepers or even the good ones tiding me over til the true keepers

So I'm looking at taking both the medicine man and white rhino out of the mix tonight. I'm thinking of doing the '3 days in the dark' technique since they are both white strains, even tho the white russian is ak-47 dominant not white dominant. I'm going to take a macro video of each tonight as a before and in 3 days when i cut them as an after and see if there's any difference visible either to the naked eye or to the macro camera. Also will be looking tonight to see how the trichs are looking now for harvest... if they're not all cloudy and none amber then i may have to pull back... reasoning for taking'em possibly a bit early is wanting space for the new crew. Those two plants are one in the night and one in the day so I clear out space for vegging under the veg light. Those two 32w CFLs are not gonna cut it for this many. So vids coming shortly.

Based on what I got off the medicine man branches, I estimate I'm going to get between 2 and 2.5 oz off the medicine man - could end up being more if it plumpens up a lot. Not sure when I'm going to take it... lower buds looking fairly done but not the top... she's got nice density when she's dry - as dense or denser than the og kush and denser than the white rhino I grew under 600w hps a few years back. She's got room to plump up a bit before she finishes so 3 is within the realm of possibiity.

I'm estimating for the first batch that went into flower 14+oz.

Dang I missed this post... They look really nice to me. After they cure for about 2 weeks they should feel a bit more dense. I was hoping you would hit that 4 oz mark as well. darn close though.

I forgot to take pics of the white russian after trimming.. oh well... camera is fucked up hard to get good shots now. Here's some I did get to come out... done trimming WR... it is hanging up... feels pretty heavy pretty close to the apollo in overall weight.. buds may be deceptively heavy *crossing fingers*

Made some bubble hash... this time I cut up/bubbled the wispy buds from apollo #1... got a good bit more hash. The OG Kush #2 is gonna get the whole thing hashed in a few days -- fucker stinks like garbage and is full of seeds. the sample bud i smoked after it dried after i took the plant down didn't have much heat on it -- definitely not smoking a bunch of not too potent bud that smells like garbage. i guess i'll smoke some garbage hash though


My bubble... right top was the 120u bag, 2nd from top 70-whatever, 3rd from top the 35u bag, bottom left the 22u bag first pass, bottom right 22u bag 2nd pass (put the water back in the first bag of ice/trim, let it sit a while, then filtered once through the 22 bag - got a decent amount of what looks like real high grade - probably should've made a 2nd or 3rd pass but too much shit to do -- i'll make extra passes when i hash that whole ogk)

Trimming the white rhino - it's nice to have a sexy lady trimming my sexy lady And she doesn't even smoke -- how's that for a good woman?


Other plants: G13xHP starting to fill out more and get to some more decent sized buds -- had a sample it was pretty good but i think it had a little apollo finger hash on top oops. The younger flowering plants all looking great. All is well. Hoping the young flowering plants haven't been seeded and that all the pollen is no longer viable.

I am using air pots as well and to me it is somewhat of a pain to water. i end up with a mess sometimes. do you have any tips for watering?

Yes. Make sure the dirt goes well above the top set of holes - that helps prevent water coming out the sides. Break the top soil up a little before watering. If you are concerned about messes, put a plastic bag around the base of the pot. First water when the soil is dry needs to be slow. After the top layer of soil is moistened you can water much faster without a mess.

thanks. i didnt think to loosen the top a bit. ive just been watering it very slow. sometimes water still comes out of random holes tho. i guess it just happens.

Loosening the top makes a huge difference. I also try to give the first bit of water a little time to sink in and then begin watering in earnest that helps as well. Some water always comes out, not much you can do about that with these types of pots. The smartpots I have leak about as much water as the airpots. Both are growing very nice plants for me but I still prefer the airpots -- I think it's more of just a personal preference not sure either produce any better results.

Smoked some g13xhp bottom buds I trimmed off/dried several days back... pretty decent -- found a fully formed/done seed. Big with tiger stripes. G13xHashplant x GeniusxDeep Chunk -- as far as I can tell she does not have a lot of seeds in the buds I don't see a lot of seedpods there it does seem like quite a few preflowers have seeds, which seems unusual... of course maybe i'll find a bunch of seeds when I harvest. She has at least a couple of weeks... plenty of red hairs, but still plenty of white and not looking done at all. Think she has some more plumping to do too. I should probably give her a little super soil on top before it's all gone... i'm actually down to scraping the bottom of the big trash can of super soil... how fast time flies. I have to make more in the next couple of weeks, but really don't want to since i'm moving mid-june, but need to start it soon so it can bake a month before those girls flower... I guess if I made it right after I moved it would be soon enough, especially since I can veg longer for sexing purposes -- no rush since I've got so much bud I didn't really plan it that way, but it really has turned into a real perpetual harvest of a plant or 2 every couple weeks.

All the 4th week flowerers looking great -- I've watered them all in the last 24 hours and topped them all with a good layer of super soil -- hoping it will trigger a burst of growth like it seemed to on the apollos.

Last but not least, not only is it so, so, so sweet to perpetually have more and new bud coming than I can even smoke, but having fresh bubble every couple of weeks ain't too bad either!! Shit in the next few days I'm hashing a whole fucking plant... can't wait to see how much I get off of that.

Same here for the most part. Always have stuff to do... in fact, growing has cut down a good bit on my smoke time unfortunately...

So not sure how many seeds I'm gonna end up with, but who wants some nice genetics? Looks like G13xHashplant x GeniusxDeep Chunk seeds are finished... haven't found finished seeds in the others. If the pollen gets the current young flowerers, will have some crosses of that too... hoping not.

Once I finish harvesting I'll post up how many seeds I end up with. The one seed I got was from a small preflower on a lower bottom bud branch I harvested as a sample... if the seed in that was completely done but the plant has 2-3 weeks left, wonder what will happen with those seeds since they should be mature?? wish I knew how much affect the seeds had on the seeded plants...
