This is my first indoor grow. I made my grow box out of a storage bin. Its 15" tall, 25" long, and 16" wide. I have 4 cfl in it. Two 20 watt, one 24 watt, and one 26 watt. I only have 1 plant growing in it so I think this should be enough light but now sure. What do you guys think. I also have a bit of heat issues. I made a few holes in strategic positions so there wouldnt be a light leak when I switch to 12/12. I also have a bowl of ice in the box for a very short term solution. I want to do pc fans but not quite sure how to. Any help is welcome and will be appreciated.bongsmilie

yea bro..thats an allrite amount of light for one plant, but depending on how big it gets thru out your grow, you might want to get some y splitters in tha future. n light leaks arent really much of a concern because if your in veg, any light that goes in thru tha holes is js gunna help your plant js that lil bit more..so if heat is a problem, you shuld js cut sum holes on the top(heat escapes up) of the grow box n js make sure theyre not that big so that if anything, when you flower, you can js cover'em up("put like a book or sumthin on it) when tha lights off.
good luck with this man!, keep us posted.

Thanks for the info, that sounds like a good idea. But when their flowering and I have to cover the holes that would make the temps go up again. I also thought that if I turned the lights on at night and off during the day (It gets really hot during the day since I live in Florida) when flowering it might bring the temps down a bit. I was planning on LSTing so they shouldn't get too big. Can anyone that has used pc fans help me figure out how to set them up please. I heard that you can splice the wires of the fan to a phone charger or something like that and just plug it into a regular outlet. Any other advice is still welcome. Thanks again fat clouds.

It doesn't seem like it would get that hot but I put a thermometer in the container and it read an avg of about 93. It could be hotter than yours because I live in Florida. Plus I dont have a fan. I guess i could try to just get a small fan. Thx.
