Half Way Point...ok day 40 from the beans hitting the bounty....the bagseed turned out to be a male so that has been removed from the grow space..the northern lights is looking very green and healthy and pistils are thick and white...the nlxbb has turned a lime green and there was some rust spots and leaf damage..not sure if it is a cal/mag problem but i did add some more epsom salts and started the bloom feeding...will be starting mollasess next watering....the "baby"NL is doing great..i tie stick'd LST it from day 4 out of the ground lol ..it has already started flowering ..i think i will just let this one go on its own from now and not LST it anymore than i alreayd have....i also purchased some new auto beans for a dual indoor/outdoor grow..... 5 feminized auto critical from femaleseeds and 5 feminized auto pruple from pyramid..will be starting 3 of eatch when current grow is done...3 will go outside after 3 weeks ..the other 3 will stay inside ....pics as usual...NL..NLxBB..BabyNL..

Day 46 from seed..approx 20 days into flower....NL plant is doing great..buds getting bigger and thicker by the day..the dog shit smell problem i had last week thankfully went away...the NlxBB seems to sort of be getting back on track as the buds are getting bigger although it still seems to be suffering some sort of nute defiecency..i have been floral feeding cal from ground up oyster shells and i bought some liquid mag too..maybe someone can give me some advice after seeing the burnt leaf pic....the "baby" nl stretched some because ive had it the furthest from the light and i should have used something to raise the plant closer to light ....my new seeds arrived from single seed company..i now have 5 auto critical from femaleseeds and 5 auto purple from pyramid..they threw in a ch9 jack and a ch9 vintage 2006 as freebies...still have 2 NL fem autos .and 1 feminised afghan x yumboldt left over from last delivery..as i previously stated i will be doing a dual indoor/outdoor auto grow as soon as the current one is finished...pics as usual..NL..then NlxBB then"baby" NL ...enjoy the grow show

Beautiful plants wonder if anyone did a full grow on just the led's and what kind of heat they generate?

i keep the lights anywere from 6 inches from the top coloa to a foot..they seem to penetrate pretty good..i did some defoilating though and lst + tie back which def helps alot..i think the best way to use these ufos are for autos in small grw spaces...1 plant per light...im actually thinking of going with a 100-300watt panel with 3w leds...either advanced or blackdog or simiiliar ....i will then hang the UFOs sideways and use them for side sumplemental lighting....at this point in my opinion LEDs def blow away cfl ....and most likely HID with the right spectrum and specs.....from heat to electric to growth rate led's are superior....and will continuie to be for atleast the next few years...just my opinon

Day 55 update...shits getting real around here !.. The Nothern lights is beefing up nice and alos getting very frosty ..its going to yield a good bit of nice nugs...the big bud stunted out from my ph being to low ..i flushed a few daysd ago and its seems to be taking off a bit now..def getting more frosty..world of seeds says 50-55 day harvest...im going to let this go to atleast the end of the month(60days)..tri's are starting to turn orange..the "baby" northenr lights has been flowering for about a week..it stretched some from being oveershadowed by the NL and NLxbb...i also have done some HST (high stress training LOL) with some of the main branches overlapping eatchother....might not yield alot but ive gained some good knowledge on the time frame of the growth rate and my next batch of autos is going to rock for sure...enough talk ..on too the pics...NL...NLxBB and then "baby" nl ..enjoy the grow show

Hey man lookin good... I think mines day 51 and it looks like it still has a few weeks I bet yours is gonna go longer than 60 days or do u think it will fill out fast

during flowering why did you choose to go with the 125w 5500k and not a 2700k or similar CFL?

I went with the 5500 full daylight because i was adding it to the leds and not using it alone for a cfl grow..From what i have read the specs on my leds are missing certain light spectrums that the 5500k full daylight has that are beneficial..

Yeah i think it might go 65 or so...2 weeks away !
