hey all,

my indoor AK47 is now starting its 10th week from seed.

- when do u reckon i should start flowering (12/12)? keep in mind i haven't got much space in my closet..
- based on pics how's my plant doing?

Hey Jon,

Where do I start...?

The LST that you're doing seems to be restricted to the lower part of the plant.. Go ahead and tie her head down and wrap her around herself like a spiral that's going outward.. No worries, she will twist around and look towards the light. This way she wil become an even bushy plant and her uppers will all be "dominant". Remember to trim up the fan leaves on the underside to improve air circulation underneath. Also trim the leaves that are cluttering your canopy and casting shadows on the underlying foliage..

You definitely have some deficiencies that are showing on the new growth and bottom leaves.. but I need more info to your feeding schedule to accurately give you an answer to that..

other thoughts: consider topping her to give you more branches to LST down..

Your plant doesn't doing well at all. She has mg deficiency and maybe she needs some more nitrogen too. 5000 lumens not enough for shit Dude. You will be dissapointed if You won't get more lumens. Your soil is not good too, no perlit in it, I don't even like its colour.

My suggestion:

-get more lumens
-transplant into a good soil (with perlite!)
-dont even think about flowering at the moment
-stop this non sense LST, your plant is under stress already
-stop monkey business, and prove yourself

cheers mate for the tip!

perhaps i should have been more specific..

i'm actually growing it organic with no nutes added..
the soil is an organic soil mix used for tomatoes mixed with some tuff.

i don't have proper equipment to check hp levels and all that stuff so obviously the plant would be a little stressed out.

the yellowing dried leaves might have happened since i wasn't around for the weekend and my brother forgot to water it :-/
the soil was way too dry when i got back..

can u please explain how to trim the leaves or at least refer me to a proper guide?

if you just trying to trim off leaves the best way to remove it to pinch it at the middle/base of the leaves stem, as far as pruning for better light distribution/growth, i would hold off on that till you get you plant healthier.

also if being organic in your growing methods is what your going for, then first good job you already have your head in the right place, but plain and simple your plant is asking for more. Id go and pick up either humboldt nutrients, or general hydroponics organic nutrient line and feed with that, also grab sum ocean forest or happy frog soil

cheers mate,

i'm not sure if i should mess with it too much..
i read some say it's not good pruning as the leaves stores energy for the plant..

what do u think based on pics?
i read somewhere u can just trim - cut small parts of the leaf to let light through but it seemed to me like a very stressful technique..

as for organic nutes, i can't seem to find any where i live and ordering it online ain't an option for me.. :-/
i need to keep it all on the low key..

i read some ppl use different fruit peels and other stuff like that but i should probably find some1 who really knows his/her way around it before i start experimenting..
any suggestions?
