My girls have been nothing but trouble. They werent overwatered they were underwatered. I gave them a great splash of water and they bounced back for about 3 hours and got worst then they were, and it wasnt an over-water this time, either.
They've been sad for the past 24 hours. I have been getting so confused over it I decided to tear one out and check the roots. I am pretty sure these girls are sucking water up from the bottom up. The top is moist while the bottom is bone dry..
I gave two some water tonight to see if they look better then the rest.

How did those roots look?
Remember when I told you to start over?
I really want to see the roots, did you take pics? The plants had like 3 nodes at a month old. I want to see what's up with them.

Roots look pretty good. The only thing that jumps out is that I would expect a lot more root developement by this stage of the game. Those things have been veggin' ~ 2 months haven't they?
I never use tap water...I don't know why anyone does. Worth a shot.
I think the droopy is from the light being too low. Maybe set a fan up to blow air along the tops of the buds to keep their temps down a bit. Thing is, the bottom leaves look aiight, perky and upright, so it looks like a heat thing on the top. Give it a shot and lets see.

Oh they started. That's the point, plants with root problems (such as being stunted due to cold) are going to have problems. They were stunted because root developement was slowed due to the cold.Laser, they've been vegging a little under 7 weeks and never really started until after 3 weeks due to concrete rememba?
I'm just saying that for the future you know now. If you F something up early on, just chuck'em and start fresh. Fresh new ones would've been better after these 4 weeks, that's all. They look good and I love your plants, but stunted plants are stunted plants.

im a firm believer that a plant can be rehabed if you have the time but if its young you should start fresh

I believe plants can be rehabbed, but I would've started fresh on this one. I understand though that a first time grower would see it through. He may have more problems and more lessons to learn so if he started over he may run into another problem that causes another restart etc....im a firm believer that a plant can be rehabed if you have the time but if its young you should start fresh
After having grown plenty of batches and it being fairly routine I almost threw mine out after I felt I lost just a week on them. It probably still would've been prudent to start over. I have found MJ to be a growing history book of the problems it's had.
Generally stunted plants stay stunted. That plant is really 7 weeks old, even though it looks 3-4weeks old.
I'm not saying you should chuck'em at this point, just pointing out WHY in the future if something goes wrong early on, you should just start over. I would expect a huge rootball after 7 weeks. I don't really see a large tap root on on the bottom of that picture.
I just like things to stay on schedule and for the growth to be vigorous and the plant healthy/happy all along it's journey to fire.

good point! i know exactly what you mean! the set i just flowered were in bad soil for the first 2-3 weeks but i stuck it out and they are fine but i know what your saying if it is going to take you 4 weeks to bring a p[lant back you could have just grown a new set

you dont see a large tap root because taproots travel down and form a center where more roots start developing laterally.Bterz your roots are completely normal.

Usually you see that end of that root at the bottom of the pot...where is it?
It didn't make it all the way down. Those roots don't look 7 weeks old. I'm not saying it's detrimental, but it's not ideal and it's not GREAT.

cannabis has a fibrous root system-it literally turns into the secondary roots. The roots in this pic arent ideal, but its def normal not to see a taproot.(unless your pots are very small.)However the roots like fine and the plants may bounce back.Switch to R.O.
