Mine are 8 weeks today too.. One plant is totally cloudy and 2 are still all clear and have about 1.5-2 weeks to go. Going to have to chop one soon to make room for more plants.

I like mostly cloudy with a few amber but just a few. It is also good to see new pistil formation slowing or stopping all together. Watch for pistils being sucked into the calyxes which should also be swelled by then. Many will dramatically reduce water use also.

yeah, its very hard to give any kind of concrete information. i've grown 5 seeds from the same lot, and gotten 3 phenos, that matured at 4 different rates.....just have to watch each one and take them when you think they're ready.

i personally like to wait till i see about 5% amber/brown trichs, as long as i'm not still seeing clears. may wait till 10% amber if thats what it takes to let the clears mature

First of all....shitty growing advice. If you have to go by what a breeder says the finishing time is, you probably haven't grown enough to simply listen to your plants. I've had the same strain finish at different times, and a lot of breeders just put numbers on their packs. ENVIRONMENT IS EVERYTHING.

As far as amber trichs, harvest when you want...amber is just the degradation of the cloudy trichs. I find when i harvest at peak cloudy, i have a more anxious high. I personally like 30% amber as my harvest number. What hillbill said about the pistols is also correct. When she ripens, she pulls her pistols in.

check the op info, 8 weeks in, flushing, breeder says another 15 days to ripe, already has no clear trichs, all cloudy milky, and some amber. I suggest harvesting exactly on the date the breeder has suggested, why wouldnt he?

my conditions are near identical to that of my seed breeders' rooms and voila!! my trichomes most often are milky solid white in the time frame they have given me. I've grown hundreds of cup winning strains and the experience has repeated itself for me. Sorry you are unable to count on the breeder specs. If you buy seeds from a breeder who "throws numbers out there" then you deserve what you get, enjoy it.

ROFL i very highly doubt that. I've seen you give good advice in other threads, but this is not one of those threads. God damn, you really jump to being a complete dick when someone does not agree with you, i've seen that in other threads too lol.

I've got a buddy that took Blue Dream 16 weeks.....What do you think the breeder's suggested flowering time is? Whats even more funny is he entered that plant in a contest and won. So to say that the breeder is right is a fucking joke that only joke growers follow. Any good grower is going to tell you to listen to your plant. Every. Fucking. Time.

And if you HAD actually done this, you'd have come to the realization that you can't always go by the breeders suggested flowering time. Way to call yourself out on that one lol...hundreds of cup winning strains my ass! I think it took me 2 grows to realize that my plants will tell me exactly what the need and when they will be done. Still took many grows to figure out what the plant is telling me. It honestly baffles me that your sticking to your guns on this one lol.

I never said to always take a breeder advice, your choice of breeders is s fine example of how that might work out for a grower like you. what I said to op was he is right on time, he said he is flushing in his week 8, with milky cloudy trichs and some amber, with maybe 15 days to go dude, read that part? ops breeder is right on man, right on to the week even, ops plant is indeed finishing right on time, right when his breeder of choice said it would. what part of that dont you get?

you are acting like an amateur buffoon really. your room and results are not dialed in obviously. you have some work to do before you attain the confidence i have and th repeatable awesome results that I always get. get over it, move along, and oh yeah, read the part that op says his plant is finishing with cloudy trichs and some amber, with perhaps 15 days to go, sound about right dufus?

yep right, you grow chuckers specials I get it, with multiple phenotypes finishing all over the map for various reasons in subpar rooms? and buddies enter one in a local schwag contest and win? .. congrats!

of course you listen to your plant, I do and most often the breeder specs are spot on for me, sorry they are not for you. I am specialized, my plants are specialized and my techniques are too, you will not be able to attain my brand of bliss, sorry again

They sound ready for the chain saw to me. I like around 50/50 ,clear/coudy with little or no amber but I like an "up" high more than couch lock and mostly grow sativa dominants for that reason.

I grow a variety of strains and a lot of my own crosses so have to always decide when they are ready rather than go by any breeder's estimate.

Take her now! You know you want to. :)

:peace:
