So i have a 2.3x2.3 mars hydro with the ts1000 in it, all vents open, 4 inch exhaust fan, 2 plants, strain is gorilla glue. Grown from seed not clones. I am wondering if this is the start of foxtailing from the heat? Its hard to see but all the pistils turned brown, now shes got these swollen bumps with fresh new white pistils.

in flower i shoot for 77-82f. I want the most preserved terps and densest nugs possible. Terpenes have a degradation and even complete evaporation temperature, some being surprisingly low (mid 80s). I was going to say that weird kinked leaf might be a heat stress indicator but if memory serves me correctly, true GG4 has funky leaves as a characteristic

So thats the temp range i shoot for, right around 80, this tent has given me hell since i bought it with the temperature. Also that particular plant has had messed up leaves since she sprouted, but the buds are absolutely solid!

I would personally open the door to allow to run a little cooler or try putting a 4in intake fan in one of the openings at bottom. What I’m gonna do on my next run

some tolerate heat better than others, you might be just fine. If your plant isnt stressing you shouldnt either.

a 4" intake fan wont do much. exhaust/passive intake and mild temps in the air surrounding the tent is the way.

For sure. I have an ac infinity 4 inch inline booster fan as an intake on my 3x3, does just as much as passive intake, maybe even LESS. 4 inch fan of anything in my opinion is no good. Im running ac infinity t6 in my 3x3 with tsw2000 and have no issues with temps. I was honestly thinking of just putting a 6 inch exhaust in the 2x2. Any thoughts?
