$1000 will get eaten up quickly if you dont have anything to start with, remember PH meter, nutes, soil, buckets/resevoirs watering tools, trimming cutting clipping & cloning tools & trays thermometer/hygrometer, circulating fans, etc etc etc. All the little things add up too.

www.plantlightinghydroponics.com Do yourself a favor and buy quality equipment...it will cost you a few extra dollars at the beginning, but it will pay for itself in the long run. I would hold off for the time being and save up a few bucks...a quality 1k setup is going to run you $500 by itself...and you have room for 4-6 of them lol...and like J420 said...the little things add up. You're looking at about $4k startup if you want to fill your room. That could easily double depending on the components you choose...then add a seperate veg nursery and you're looking at $10k easy...don't forget utilities! lol

Guess since the XXXL is getting traded in to pick up an oscillating fan, you can get a pH Pen
Added a few other things in lieu of the monies that was being spent on the hood. Detailed feeding a tiny bit more as well.

You could spend the remaining money on propagation stuff and get a batch of 12 clones ready for when you double to 2k watts after your first grow. Or, grab another pack of beans and get them cooking.

thanks for the responses, at the present time i have as follows, 2- 400 watt hps, 1- 400 watt mh, ph meter/water meter/light meter, ppm tester, 25- 3 gal grow bags, 2- 6" inline fans, 25- 1 gal pots, 20- 1/2 gal pots, the ff trio+open sesame,beastie bloom, cloning gel bat shit, epsom salt, molases and two bales of sunshine mix #4. i think that is all. smell is not a issue, also i got access to 30 clones any time i need them. thanks for the responce in advance, rep for the good ones

I would shrink your room from a 8 x12 to a 6 x 12 and get 2 -1000 (1 every 6x6)... $450
a 75 can can filter set up (600 cfm) or similar $300

no de humdifier
dont need ppm pen
dont need larger than a 8 inch potters cost $2 a potter... if i do then its a 10 inch (6 quart) which cost $3 a potter...I can get 4 oz out of 8 inch potters (3 quart)
You will also need to get a germination dome (walmart) for future clones.... some Rapid Rooters and a 20 watt flou $35
