planted just after memorial day, got 2 healthy looking ladies, but have no idea what to do about topping and flowering. They're in the yard with about 12 hours of sunlight a day, should i be covering them with black trash bags at night?

How do I top them? Is this even necessary for an outdoor grow? They are pretty bushy already, but no flowers yet. any advice for a newb would be appreciated!

Too late to top. If they are getting 12 hours of light, then it's dark after that, why put bags over them?

im just worried about yard lights from neighbors bleeding in...not really sure how sensitive they are. i'll post pics tomorrow when the light is good. I'm very excited and have been taking great care of them by the looks, nice and bushy. i'm getting ready to tie down some of the obstructing branches to get more light to the inside. I figured with an outside grow at the time I started that mother nature would take care of the lighting cycles naturally.

Really too late to top? Will that affect me drastically when they DO start to flower? I have FoxFarms big bloom and tiger bloom for when they start to flower, should i wait for them to show flowers on their own before changing ferts? Thanks!

Yes, this will REALLY stress the plant. You don't want to do this when getting ready to flower. You normally top when in early stages of veg.

If you have them in flower (12/12) already, yes! Give them their flowering nutes ASAP!

AS SOON AS YOU PUT THEM INTO 12/12, you are getting them ready to flower. Flush with lots of water to get rid of any nutes - if you used any - then use the flowering nutes. P will help promote lots of bud sites and the plant to start flowering.
