8 plants

I bought a hydro kit from cailgrowkits.con and it allows me to grow up to 8 plants now my question is I have 5 female ak-48 seeds and 15 other reg seeds like pineapple kush and the rest pick and mixs but would having females and males growing at the same time mess anything up?

As long as you pull the. Males out before they start to shed pollen you should be good. Does your setup have all the plants in the same reservoir? If so this might be an issue because the roots can grow together and it can be more difficult to remove a plant.

Yea they share the same reservoir and thats what I was wondering wit the roots. so should I just do them diffent times then?

pics of it ?

how big is it ..
I wonder if it is big enough to keep 8 plants .. grown .. flowering plants .. might be better to grow 4 at the time and use the "corners"

it of course also depend on your light .. and how fast your flower .. might work if you go 12/12 early on and do a SoG/Scorg of some kind ?

I'd probably stick with just the females then. I don't see an 8 site hydro kit on that link just four though. If its that size res I wouldn't put 8 plants in there, just stick to a 4 bigger plants. Not to mention having to untangle the males.

Thank You but I couldn't get the female plants till next grow so I have 4 reg pineapple kush im going to have to use. lets hope I get atleast 2 females.

Running different strains in the same res could or could not be an issue. The different strains may have varying needs when its comes to nutrient requirements.

you never know you might be lucky and get all 4 fem, why dont you pot them up in soil/ coco until they show sex, dispose of any males and use the females as mothers so you can clone them and put the rooted clones in the hydro system. Or if you dont want to be running veg and flower set ups take the females and rinse the coco off and put them into your hydro set up. Been along time since i did hydro but i imagine its alot easier to wash coco from roots and proceed into hydro than it is to seperate roots from each already in hydro.
I know using coco would mean an extra nute for coco but its a few quid for the A+B needed. Better to spend a couple of quid(£7.50) than to ruin already flowering females by pulling appart the roots.

Well this is my first grow ever thats why I bought a beginner hydro system. im learning everything though this site or videos I still have to find out how to germenate a seed for a hydro system.
