Upon further calibration and research it is now good to go. I'm new to this shit guys so bare with me. My towns tap is 7.8. I went and bought this calibration solution shit and read the directions again and everything is good.

I was just about to ask what was used to calibrate. Measuring distilled is pointless, as are no name meters.

Let me look at the name. But my local hydro shop charged me 69 dollars. I know that.

What the heck do I need a PH tester for. Growing heathy plants dummy. I should have listed to that advice from the beginning. I just got mine today, calibrated it and found out my well water is 7.5 this morning. I don't know how or if it will change with heavy rain or dry spells. 7.5 is a little high would you say? I got some PH up and down to fix it. I melted some snow and tested that. It was 6.3 PH. Not bad.
PH, yep it matters. PH meter permanent fixture in the grow room.
7.5 too high right???
