I grew a plant outside this summer and it recently started to bud it is 8 feet 6inches tall and 3 foot wide. How much should i be watering it and what nutrients would be best to use at this point. It is only in a 5 gallon bucket with multiple holes for drainage in the bottom. I have pics which i will post later. Any help would be great.

I want to see this

Im in a 20 gal and shes just starting to flower also. Im having to water every 2 days. For a 5 gal 1-2 gallons ought to be good. Just keep wateringing on a normal schedule

I use fox farm big bloom

I would go with the Botanicare line of nutrients and a must have for week 4 and 6 is Bloombastic, will make your buds look like their dipped in sugar. Top dress your soil with a high phosphorous bat guano too!

nice job in a 5 gal bucket. Do you have to water alot now. On the nute thing you want to slow down on the N and add in more P and K. There plenty of hardware store shelve items that will do this or you can spend big bucks at a hydro store. F 11 , liquiknox vegg and bloom and Alaskan fish emulsion are hardware store Items that will work for you. I've vegged using Miracle grow patio fertilizer. Your plant would be super happy in a bigger bucket if possible. I have a huge plant in a 15 gallon bucket, Wish it was in a bigger pot. It uses alot of water and takes a while to get the water through the root mass. Can't wait to see how packed the roots are. Nothing less than 20 gallon trash can's for me next year on the last transplants.:leaf: It's 110 here, I'm water twice a day. 5-8 mins a plant on a low trickle tap water.:leaf:

its root bond. good luck getting any nutrient to the roots in side. id pick it up put it in a try. if you cant find one dig a hole line it with plastic. pour your ferlizer and water in the tray. let it soak up. it should do this in a hour if its empty give it some more. and then again. and again. tell it wont take up any more. then wait a day or some and do it again. it depends on your weather and heat also.

For size and about root bound. Here is three 7.5ft tall and 4ft wide White Widows in a 25 gallon barrel pot. (55g cut in half) I am pushing root bound myself. I can only amagine a 5g bucket. I still have good drain for I used 30% perlite in my mix. Drinks water daily in heat.

Mines over 7ft tall now in a 3 gallon container. I had no idea it was going to get this out of hand. It drinks 2 gallons on the hot humid days.
