7x10 Room ; How many HLG 550

The claimed footprint for Flower is 4.5x4.5 or 4x5 ; given the shape of the light I think 4x5 is probably more accurate. Right now I have two hanging in the room... the idea is a 1' perimeter which leaves total space of 8x5 which fits the 2x(4x5) perfectl. But I own another 550 and could put in in there... Ive drawn up a few ways but ultimately I would have some overlapping and think it might just be too difficult to make the canopy even... so even though I will have more light, it wont get used effectively.

What would you do with the space and the lights. Keep to 2 lights, or add the 3rd. If you add the third how do you configure them.

Cheers

Probably 30 slightly dimmed. You know you might want to make sure every diode hits plant matter. Then a 5 ton A/C just to make sure your environment is on point. You could probably get this done inexpensive like right around 35-40k. You'd be right in track for a 12 month roi.

If this was funny I could forgive that it’s not helpful. It’s not like I posted another “is this a male” question :blsmoke:

My bad. Just trying to help. Thanks for humiliating me in front of everyone..........
I wasn’t offended I just felt sad for you that you couldn’t do better. Like if you’re gonna try and roast at least make it funny.

anyways since you’re here would you keep the 2 lights or add the 3rd? bongsmilie

Those lights cover a 4x4 area.

You’d need 4 then a couple of the 260’s to fill in the ends.

I built my room knowing that most lights cover a 4x4 area, yours is oddly shaped and thought to light up imo.
Yah it is an odd size to fit the lights that’s why I thought there might be some helpful heads here who might have an idea how to best use the space and lights I have.

Ultimately I don’t want to have the plants touching the walls hence why I was thinking the 2 lights might be enough.

Personally I'd do 2 DE's in that space and a 12k window banger and some co2. With a scrubber scrubbing the dankness out the air!!!! Then go to the gay bar and mingle. Not fuck or anything just mingle and make some friends. You can bring your dog to most gay bars so its pretty chill. Be sure you let them know why you there also!!!!

What should he tell them he’s there for if he’s not fuckin?
He has to tell them he's there to get people to help him smoke his weed. 25# a year is super hard to smoke by yourself. You just invite everyone over from the bar to your house to smoke, then accidentally have a huge pile of coke lying around and watch the fucking magic happen!!!! Good times!!!

What the hell has this place become? Sorry OP, there was a point and time where this was a place where people came to help others out and share information. Now its just a bunch of dickheads that think their super uncreative 'jokes' are funny.

I came here to see what the consensus would be on a question like this and maybe learn a thing or two so unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you.

6 550's will do it. 2 for the 7 ft , and 4 for the 10 ft. Just space everything out evenly.

i’m not sure I understand… 6?
when trying to answer the question before I posted if I was understanding your room is 20x30 with 18 x 550 which is 33.33sqft per light (I realize you benefit from a lot of overlap in your setup). But i’m not sure how 6 lights in a 7x10 would work maybe misunderstood?
