7th generation clones mutating. Pretty cool.

Rollex o.g. My go to. I take clones of clones instead of using a mother and started noticing mutations at 5th time taking cuts. Hasn’t effected yields or growth speed. They eventually grow out of it. Leaves are getting funkier in general and branching has been out of control last few rounds. This time I’m getting shoots growing from every leaf. Looking up top it seems it will grow out of this. Yes there is mite damage but I’m on it. I get a little lazy from time to time but no worries4A345988-B5A3-46F2-9E91-52116679F377.jpeg4518BC42-A6E0-4972-A07C-568E3FDAC9C4.jpeg

Had tiny buds form on some leaves of a Jack 47 I ran some years ago. Always cool to see weird things as long as it doesn’t effect the growth or quality.

Have you ever considered maintaining a mother plant? I have plant limits that make the proposition less attractive for me, but I hear it resists mutation better.

My plan is to just do what you're doing and see what happens though, lol. I'm only on my first generation of clones in veg rn, with a couple weeks left on their moms in flower.

Having a mother doesn’t fit in with my set up. I’ve taken a few strains past ten clones of clones and no mutations. This particle plant is changing on me. Smoke is still the same. It’s great. I’ve thought a lot about just making one a mother now because I love this plant so much but I’m just going to keep the same path until she becomes a total freak. Lol. Hopefully I’ll be tired of smoking it by then. Out of probably 30 different strains I’ve ran over the years this one has a special place. Will be hard to replace

Looks like a reveg
Not reveg. The reveg plants tend to stretch a bit and have reduced leaflet count for a while and get very bushy. These are not branch due to reveg. Shoots growing from leaves isn’t a characteristic of reveg as far as I’ve saw. This is how the clones have been growing under 20 hours of light since then hey rooted. They were taken in veg. Theyve never seen a flower cycle. The plants are doing just fine now and shoots are coming off the stalk and not leaf stem.
