780 watts of LED Hydro/coco

I am starting my first hydroponics grow along with my new 600w led panel. I have been growing in dirt and coco for the past year in a small tent that can barely hold two 90w ufos. I now have my own grow room and got me some goodies... I use to grow autoflowers, but with a new room I have decided to go photo... I only have 1 room so it acts as my veg AND flower room... I purchased a Hydrofarm Eco-grower hydroponic drip system... it has a 17 gallon res but i only fill it with 13 (1in below pots)... I also purchased a no name 600w led panel from ebay and I have got to say that it is a hell of a lot better than my ufos DUH... I have 8 plants going 5 Bubbleicious and 1 Kandy Kush and 2 ladiva autos... the bubble seeds were unsexed but the Kandy is feminized and well I just decided to see how a autoflower grows under 12/12... 2 bubbles and the kandy are in the hydro setup under a 600w and I have 3 bubble in coco under 2 90w ufos.. The hydro plants will be 5 weeks this saturday, the coco are 3 weeks and the la divas just broke dirt. I am going to flip the room to 12/12 on the 2nd march. the photos are in no particular order, just some shots I have taken with my phone throughout.

I watched a video today on how to make your own CO2... Just water sugar and yeast and viola! The ladies (I hope) are getting bigger... this hydro shit is a pain in my ass... you have to use almost double to amount of nutrients to make sure they are getting enough... I have had no signs of over nutes in them so I am continuing on with my regiment... I do like how the girls are progressing in the hydro compared to the coco even though the girls in coco are 2 weeks behind...

When you get good roots from all of your plants in the eco-grow system, I would stop top dripping them and go DWC/bubbler with some airstones and this;

Don't get that lamp so close to your ressy, your water will get too warm. Boiled roots-not so good.

Also, GH FloraDuo nutes work perfect in that system.

I already have an air stone in the res, and I have stopped the top drip cause those roots are friggin established. I am almost worried that all the roots will grow together and inter-tangle. I am using GH Flora series nutes and I am following their Simple Recirculating chart they have posted here http://generalhydroponics.com/site/gh/docs/feeding_sched/GH-FloraSeries-REC-Charts.pdf

I have outside (cold) air that blows right under the lights to keep it cooler, but I really do not need to do that. The LED's do not put out that much heat. With everything turned on to full blast The room stays at a cozy 77 degrees.

The one thing I have noticed is that these girls are not stretching to the light. Maybe it's the more powerful light or it could be the strain. They are happy and comfy staying short but getting fat lol

Sounds like you got it under control. I would keep an eye on your roots though. I think a res temp of 77f is high.
If you are not using anything organic then you might want to consider this;

My room stays at 77 but my thermo in my res says the water is at 64.6. Currently I am not using organic... I'm kinda stuck with GH because I know their products and know which to use and what each is for... I did a lot of research on the company... they have been in business over 30 years and so they have had time to perfect their formulas

I'm really curious about that panel, and everything else looks good so far. Have you hooked up that panel/light to a meter to see actual wattage draw?

I have not hooked it up to a meter but now that you mentioned it, I will order one on payday.

OK so I decided to take out my good camera today and shoot some pics... Im having an issue with my Kandy Kush, some of her leaves and marbling light green. Hopefully someone might know of a fix? I am almost positive that its a Nitrogen deficiency

I add 4ml/gal of cal-mag to my nutrients because I run ro water. I do not think it is mag def, but you have about sealed my thoughts about a N def... btw thank you for that site it friggin rocks!

I never thought of that... I will lower it next res change to see... Its not affecting the whole plant, so I am not that worried about it......Yet
