First time grower here.....I think these are ready to cut down. Its suppose to be a White Widow clone....but who knows. Going to do a quick flush today then chop these babies down.

Ditto, not ready IMO. Give them 10 hours for a week, 8 for another. Last two will see that THC level rocket, don't chop them now!

Definately not done. I'd stay on 12/12 and let them finish. You should have a microscope to look at the trichomes for when most of them are cloudy but most of your hairs aren't even dark yet so no way is it done.

Looked at the trichs today..50% of them are cloudy, but none of them are amber...is that normal???? And the pics that i took are all the tops of the plants....... The bottom of the plants have 90% red hairs. ill take better pics

Agree w/ above posters. Not ready, 1 - 2 weeks out, could be more. They will plump up quite a bit more. You've put alot of time and care into them, no sense chopping until they are ready. I'd say your fine with flushing now though. Nice work so far!

The plants in the middle have about 90% red hairs...its just the buds on the top that only have about 30% red hairs. Also...mostly all the trichs are cloudy....just not amber.

Like is always said, if you are looking for a energy high, harvest cloudy, if you are looking for couch lock, harvest amber. Or mix and match.

Mdot, use a scope and harvest as mentioned above. You can harvest the buds that are done and let the others go for a bit more. Looking good though :hump:

Thanks man, i got a 60x-100x scope...its just so hard to keep it steady on the bud. I can only see it for a brief second. When i do see them, they are cloudy just not amber yet. Im going to give them 1 1/2 and then cut them no matter what. :wall:

With that high of a power (I have a 420 scope) its easiest to just cut a piece off thats nice and tucked up close to the bud and put it on a table and look at it that way. Otherwise your shaking and moving every which way.

Do you mean cut the leaf or one of the hairs???

Thanks for the help guys....just one more question. If the bigger leaves near the buds turn yellow and the tips get brown(during my 8th week of flowering) is that bad for the bud itself.

nah the yellowing of the leaves is natural man, it's telling you that it is almost done, definatley go for another week, two at the most and you won't be sorry, try some molasses if you wish
