it's definitely not chlorine issue or ph. Why would your outdoor plants not show that deficiency if they are in the same soil. Probably just a overwatered plant that's got trouble to get nitrogen from the soil ( because of all that water)
Woould it make a difference that the outdoor plants are direct in ground ? That’s the other thing I thought of that maybe the outside plants are getting different soil ( whatever is in the ground ) Even tho I used my soil mix to fill the holes
If that makes sense

yes that is possible I thought they were in pots too. Earthworm castings are 5.5 % in nitrogen
fresh cow manure you can consider it doesn't give nitrogen because bacteria use it to decompose organic matter
potting mix should have nutrients for a while.
Top soil is very poor in nutrients

Given those facts i would water less before adding more

i can't believe you can think it's a lack of nitrogen... 25% cow manure and 25% casting is very high. They look much more overwatered than lacking nitrogen you can grow 8 foot plants with just a few shovels of manure
Is it layered ? Or mixed? I finally made the leap to a fertilizer that i wish I had found years ago. Jacks hydroponic 321 three part mix has been a welcome change. Its very hot fertilizer but works great. 5-12-26 and 15-0-0 3rd part is just Epsom salt. I haven't seen a hint of yellow since I started using it. As long as you follow the directions to the letter, it will not harm young or mature plants

Sorry just seeing this now . I ended up with spider mites so had to do a major clean of tent and major defoliation and since I had young autos sharing the tent I decided to put the 4 plants outside to flower ( went outside last week of aug but growth was stunted for a week.) they started flowering about 10 days ago. I hope they finish in 8 weeks ! I’m in southern Ontario
