7 week flower/ great buds/ became hermaphrodite

Should I harvest still? I thought the plant could grow a bit longer. I was told these seeds were fast flowering, not autos. What should I do? Buds look decent with good trichromes.

Buds are not even buds yet man so no, don't chop it unless your just going to throw it out imo.
but, depends on what else is in your tent, can't really tell from your pics.
If you got other ladies, then yes, you're going to want to get it out of there, but realize you won't get any yield from it.

You're going to need to get that plant out of your tent before it seeds your other plants. It sucks but sometimes you just gotta cull plants like this and move on. The buds are not anywhere close to being ready to harvest, they need like 2 more months....you'll just end up with harsh smoke and a headache if you try to smoke it now.

Trash it. What in the info tells you to keep a full blown herm lmao. It’s a wrap bro. Even if you attempt to pick off every nanna while it grows. You’ll still miss a shit load of pollen and that entire flower will swell with seeds. Nothing but a giant waste of time. Can’t smoke the weed cause there will barely be any. All just cylax skin from the seed. And small amounts of Un pollinated flowers. Very small. And the seeds are all Going to be herm genetics as well. So really. You can’t use anything of it. Unless you risk growing it out and hashing it. But why when you can start over catch up and harvest in a few months time. Imo.

Most strains can do that even with not much stress. Maybe it was/is too humid, cold/hot or a tad of all that which can cause that. The buds look like they are forming normal so keep it rolling man. I’ve had that happen and it didn’t even slightly effect potency.

Yes totally man read my comment above. Your fine. You can pick them off with your fingers but your better off letting them develop and get some free seeds. It may have been humidity man. If you humidity stays above 60 in flower that will happen.

I actually love when I make that mistake somehow you literally get free seeds and you can correct your mistake next round. Some seed banks do sell seeds of such nature without their knowledge man you can’t always blame them.some genetics just do that and you have to stay away but 99 percent of the time it happens because of our mistake and you gotta remember at the end of the day these plants were met to be grown outdoors.

So if a herm pollinates itself due to stress. (Not selfing with sts) you get feminized seeds?
It’s okay to grow out a herm and just pick the pollen off? Keep the seeds as fems?

That’s a tough question depends on the gene pool if it contains the too much of the hermaphrodite gene you better off staying away or picking a new gene or strain. But most times it’s due to stress like 99 out 100 percent of the time man I’m telling you from experience and you can re use the seeds and they will be female and all good. I am not saying this is the case with each and every gene but you can cause any strain to produce seeds with stress literally any strain.

If you leave it, it will pollinate your other plant. This means seeded bud.

If you don't want that, there is no other option but to remove it.

I would get rid of it if I had another plant, and I would be worried that it's already too late.

Hopefully that helped a bit. If you do have such event ever occur use the seeds you got to produce a tiny plant for fun and you can test the sex. But female seeds off a female dominant hermaphrodite or like one that was said to be female and produced sacs like the picture in this post. Will guarantee be female that’s how dispensaries and seed banks get their seeds essentially. Now days they are hormones on the market you can spray your plant and it will produce like a 100 seeds it’s wild.

So it’s pretty much pointless to go through all that trouble and use sts and reverse your girls.. All you have to do is stress your plants out to herm, and use that pollen and bam. S1!!! But only certain strains will do that you said?

nobody reverses females anymore for female pollen?

Pull the herm and hope it didn't seed it.

Yeah some just produce with minor stress. If you do want and are interested in storing your own seeds get the bio stuff and you can literally spray one branch for three weeks in flower and that branch will give you tons of seeds and only that branch. There is YouTube videos floating around with demonstrations and the stuff cost less that 75 bucks. It’s crazy one branch will seed and the rest of the plant continues as normal.

No no. I’m not talking about reversing with sts. I already know that. That’s how every single breeder I know create s1s.

your saying you can simply just “stress” your plant out and create s1s. That’s what I wanna know. Because under my understanding is you have to completely reverse to get male pollen caring the corresponding gene from the female hormone. Resulting in a 99% female seed. A reversed plant is not the same as a herm

They didnt start using reversal spray until recently. The old methods were to stress a plant, wait for rodelization and collect the pollen.
And yes, they will be feminized. XX chromos
