Here is a picture of some clones I cut just 7 day's ago.. They all are still alive and seem to be doing well except for a couple of them.. Should I add any nutes to the spray bottle? how long does the cloneing gel I used continue too feed these baby's? What should I do next.. There are 72 clones in this tray..
Thanks for any help.... PEACE

keep misting them with the dome on them if they are not rooted yet. if they have a good root system you can transplant and start veg growth

look like you left too much foliage on those cuts. you want them to concentrate on root development, not plant maintenance. are those in cubes or something? you have a dome?

They are in cubes.. why would I get worms? Should I cut the foliage? The roots are beginning to pop on all of them>>> PEACE & Thanks

Let the roots explode from the cube, transplant to your favorite medium, and start feeding. Until then I'd just mist with plain water. Those look awesome by the way.

Looks like you have a tray of some kind, Rapid Rooter maybe?

You got good advice here. Just spray with water, try to put a dome over it, and if you can get a heating pad & thermostat for underneath, that also helps. Optimum root zone temp is low 80s and optimum leaf zone temp is low to mid 70s.

Also, the next time you clone don't take soo many leaves. The more the plant has to try to maintain the leaves, the longer it will take to get roots.

Looks like a great first go though, definately did better than my first time.

+rep for a great start.

P.S. If that is a rapid rooter tray don't follow the instructions. Get rid of the standing water, it will go stagnant and keep roots from developing. Just empty the underneath tray, spray 2 or 3 times a day, and cover with a dome.

Dude my clones are also 7 days... about the hole extra leaves thing should i cut them offf or wait for them to die naturally??
I have some pics in my journal

Sorry, I didn't see any clones after the first post. Nice grow btw.

If you are seeing roots then I'd just let them go. If you cut them they might experience shock and stall growth for a few days. If you don't see roots yet, then you might or might not want to.

The only thing the extra folliage does is slow down the rooting process. It shouldn't keep them from rooting.

Thanks dude +rep fo yo ass :bigjoint:
I was experimenting with the sizes of clones and some of them were too big for my dome, so i put them in a big red plastic box and i shield the direct light with some window tint.i spray them about 4 times a day.....my fingers are crossed its my first time cloning:wall:

Leave that foliage on there, because that's what powers the plant after it has rooted. I used to trim the hell out of my cuttings when i started, and sure, they rooted a few days quicker, but then took forever to sprout new leaves and catch up to the leafy ones, after they took off.

I used rooting powder but i read somewhere that it wasnt a necessary thing.
I cut and prepped them in a few different ways to figure which works the best and learn a bit more about cloning.
Anyways best of luck with it
Ps. it would be great to compare pics as they grow up dude :bigjoint:
