Hey rollitup family I have 4 plants outside on my balcony and two of them the bigger ones are growing but slow budding and wondering if anybody has an idea if this is going to take longer than usual? I'm guessing the budding process slowed a bit due to a street lamp in my alley and the light from my kitchen so I'm covering them up and keeping them as dark as I can I put a tarp to block the street light and I keep my blinds closed in my kitchen. Can the budding process take longer than 9 weeks? supposedly I'm growing some Grand Daddy Purp but I see no resemblance on the plant of a gdp strain just all green but I may be wrong. maybe I have a strain that takes longer to Bud, I don't know anybody got any ideas? heres pics .

Some strains can take as long as 12-13 weeks to fully develop. So don't stress too much, but the disturbance from darkness could be disrupting the flowering cycle. Try and keep it as dark as possible during night time and you'll be fine

The light in the alley is probably a high pressure sodium bulb. That's if the light is orange. If it's white, it's a high intensity discharge. All 250watts of it.

Stuff outdoors takes longer to kickin and see results than from when you go to 12/12 all the time, they look goood. Keep it up and remember if you have patience you have good smoke
