For the fun of it does factor in of course but when you pick your final entry to finish with, winning this thing takes over. Especially if you get a contender, you really start watching things closer. I hope the pheno gods smile down on my entry because I just want to win this time. If you have a competitive edge winning becomes everything in this contest.

This comment just made you lose my vote ENTIRELY. Personally I have already put at least 40 hours into finding sponsors for this event, and to have you say something so ignorant, ungrateful, and rude blows me away, even my five year old son has more respect than that.... Why are you here if you're not interested in the prizes? I am half tempted to ask you to leave because of that.

If the blatant RUDE, UNGRATEFUL, DISRESPECTFUL comments continue, you will be told to leave.

Dealing with people like this makes me wildly upset, I don't think you belong here....

These sponsors didn't HAVE to put any of these products up for us, and here you come to shit on it just because you don't think the prizes are "exciting".

Maybe you should play genetic experimentations somewhere that it'll be more worthwhile.... Like the Noobie Section

This contest is their and my priority, Its meant to be fun and serious.... Everyone should care, because YOU are being rude and ungrateful to the host, other contestants, sponsors, and to the rollitup.org community.
FYI: Flaming sponsors and other contestants doesn't buy you votes, and won't win this.


I hope that you understand that THIS is the ONE warning that you'll get. I don't want to have to have anyone removed, but I will do what is best for the group. Even if that means having someone removed....

The organizer of the competition should try not to discourage and belittle others, it's quite poor etiquette and sportsmanship. If I showed any disrespect it would be for him not the sponsors.

Frozen is just the spokesperson for the 6th competition...Winner of the 5th. And he happens to be doing a great job. He's not getting shit for any of this, but he's pouring time and effort into hunting down sponsors and making cool photoshop visuals for us. He's doin' a HELL of a job, and I think you just insulted him by saying all his hard work is in vain, and goes unappreciated.

As for the schwag seeds...I've seen good plants grown from Mexi brick weed...So maybe he was a little outta line there, but you gotta realize, this IS half shit-talking comp, and half party cup comp...Has been in the past, and will continue to be in the future. If you're prone to getting sand in your vagina, maybe it's time to put on some big girl panties and suck it up.

I won't stand by and be attacked. If you had a problem with something maybe a less public and less disruptive method would have been your better option. Or just stick to organizing and doing a great job instead of belittling others.

A little shit talk between contestants is expected, even encouraged to a point. When you start in on the sponsors and the host because you're not impressed, we have a whole new problem....

You took a partial quote and ran as far as you could with it. Disrespectful.

You started off by disrespecting a quality build for a single plant grow. Disrespectful.

Others stated that we should take this seriously not treat it as a fun experiment. You sort of support this by supporting their partial quote attack. Disrespectful

You guys and the one other $100 sponsor with single seeds were the ones I would most have wanted to win. But I'm fine skipping this if it's going to be a flame war with the organizer.

With two people already saying they wouldn't vote based on the plants it sounds like a popularity contest in reality anyway.

You've been here a month? Glad to see you're making friends already!

Picking single seeds? What sorta representation can you get from a strain if you run 1-3 beans? You MIGHT find something good, but that's sorta putting all your eggs in one basket. You know breeders who cube their strains? I know of a few, and they MIGHT narrow down variations in the genetics a little...But I never understood the appeal of single seeds.

The point is to find out what genetics I have in these seeds. We might get surprised, but I wouldn't expect to win or even do well without a miracle starting with these seeds.

So your saying if you some how won this comp you wouldn't be excited at all, and wouldn't take the prizes that these awesome sponsors donated to us and wouldn't be stoked that frozen chosen put this together again for all of us just for the fun learning experience of it all. Personally myself I'm stoked to do this and would still do this even if there wasn't prizes. Just kinda a low blow dude but that's just me. Big props/respect to frozen chozen and the sponsors to put this on for all of us specially with no entry fee. Thanks guys!
