Probably just says that to get people that really want the light for outdoors/garage. Would probably do just fine indoors.
 
Yea, I noticed that. Just wanted to check because I know that they don't detail every product they sell as descriptively as the next and there's often mistakes as well, but thanks for the input.

Using one of them now indoors, perfectly fine and as bright as hell! Not much heat off of it either compared to multiple smaller ones.

I just saw someone's grow journal using one of these bulbs (different temps for veg/flowering of course) and had awesome results. Think I'm gonna switch to just one and get rid of all my little ones or just use them for supplemental/lower growth lighting..
