Thanks G, I ended up with 10 females. One of which is outside because the most I could have in my tent is 9. The one outside is budding slower than the ones in the tent so when those are done I will just put that last female in tent to finish her up.

I sun comes up at 6 and goes down at 6...She should be done before we hit the long summer days. I will start covering her with a big box if the times start to get too long.

Every day this time of year, the days get about 2-3 minuts longer each day until June 21st, which is, as you know, the longest day of the year... Remember, time goes forward one hour on Sunday morning at 2am....

To cool the light I have just one duct booster fan, sucking air through whole light assembly, you can see the boxes of exactly which model fan i bought in the pictures. Remember when your moving air, it is better to have your fan suck air rather than push it. All my fans are set up to suck air instead of push it. I have the Vortex sucking air through the carbon filter, the carbon filter sucks air out of the grow tent which the Vortex spits out once it's clean. I also like that the Vortex spits out the cool clean air right next to my ballast which helps ceep it super cool. Look at the drawing again and zoom in on the pictures to see the types of clamps I used. If you have any more questions just ask.

do you have any addition air intakes? or do you leave the passive flags open? during the day time if its dark in the tent does light get in with the flaps open?

That black stuff is the inside of the silver ducting you see inside the grow tent, that ducting is chrome on the outside and black on the inside. You will have to buy the ducting seperate along with the flanges. My flanges are 6 inch.

I only have the 3 passive flags and I rolled them up and put hair clips on them to keep them up. that room is always dark unless the light is on its a small desk lamp, I don't think light gets in with the flaps rolled up but I think I will check just to make sure. If you leave them down you should be fine, I might put mine back down since I got the Vortex now.

Hey nice set up, I notice you said that most ppl cut the lower part of the plants so they can get water and or feed them, I think one of the bigger reasons is due to lack of light penetration and air flow. From what I have read a lot of ppl don't like the little popcorn buds that are produced at the bottom of the plant(when not getting enough light). I was thinking if you are still having a hight problem you can put a home made screen over the plants witch will make scsog type grow, just a thought.

Thanks for the advice, the girls are doing great, they have stopped growing in height and are now filling in. I will post pix tonight. It is amazing how different Sour D smells from Durban Poison. I cant wait to get my bigger tent, I am going for the Grow Lab 80L which is basically the same size as my current tent times 2, and a foot taller. It measures 3ft X 5ft X 7ft. I will have plenty of room in that one .

Since I got the same light as you one question I saw the brands of fans you have but where im at they dont have that brand, so basically my question is how powerful of a fan do I need for the tube just for sucking all the hot air out since im gonna have one side as a passive air intake like you :weed:

160-250 cfm, with 6" ducting, and I got almost all my stuff from this website. Here are links for the clamps + ducting, duct fan, and flanges.
