60F/60rh. What’s everyone running

Is this truly the best recipe to dry? I tried it once and i has some thicker colas get some mold in the middle. I adjusted by bringing the humidity to 50%. I liked that but I definitely noticed faster drying times obviously. My last harvest I had a hard time bringing up the humidity and the plants dried fast in about 7 days. Definitely noticed some lost terps and taste was a little planty. What’s everyone’s go to?

your plants got moldy while drying or were they already moldy when you hang them up? i never got mold while drying. while growing yes, drying no. my house was always over 60%-65% and always around 60F so i guess it worked for me but right now i’m drying in my grow room which really fucks with my drying. its like 75F and 45%. shit dries in 4 days but still tasty stuff. though i’m gonna set up a dedicated drying area soon.

you can start with a lower humidity then work your way up
with fan you can also go with high fan and work your way down

Thanks for the input. How long does it take you to dry? The 68 seems high. Does it dry out faster?
It dries out nice and slow to be fair, it takes me about 2 or 3 weeks for it to dry, but I like to leave it a bit longer. About 1 month of drying and it's perfect. I know it sounds like a long time, but it's worth it in the end :)

They got moldy while drying. These were the buggest of colas though. Other portions of that plant didn’t have mold in the buds. It wasn’t brown bud rot but white mold in the thickest part of the bud

Thinking about it... It's hard to dry out stuff like that properly. If the buds are rock hard and it's some Cali gelato hybrid or something like that then you probably want really low humidity. About 40% or something like that. And you've got to be careful on your temps because the hotter it is, the faster it will dry out which will lock chlorophyll into the buds. The same thing with the humidity, so it's a very fine balancing act.
