Thanks for the input. How long does it take you to dry? The 68 seems high. Does it dry out faster?
It dries out nice and slow to be fair, it takes me about 2 or 3 weeks for it to dry, but I like to leave it a bit longer. About 1 month of drying and it's perfect. I know it sounds like a long time, but it's worth it in the end
They got moldy while drying. These were the buggest of colas though. Other portions of that plant didn’t have mold in the buds. It wasn’t brown bud rot but white mold in the thickest part of the bud
Thinking about it... It's hard to dry out stuff like that properly. If the buds are rock hard and it's some Cali gelato hybrid or something like that then you probably want really low humidity. About 40% or something like that. And you've got to be careful on your temps because the hotter it is, the faster it will dry out which will lock chlorophyll into the buds. The same thing with the humidity, so it's a very fine balancing act.
